'That dude is totally checking you out Em!'

I giggled

'No, really he's been looking at you this whole time!'

'Oh Amber, why would he like me?'

Bell rings

'Got to go!'

And just like that, Amber left. Jett was still staring at me. Something about him didn't feel right, like he has some secretive past that was yet to be un-earthed. I was just walking out the door when I felt a tap on my shoulder, expecting it to be Mr Barnes, our biology teacher, growling about that I hadn't pushed my chair in or something. But this hand was light and cold. A chilling feeling came over me, but I couldn't put my finger on what was so creepy about it. I knew who it was. But, before I could speak, Jett muttered in my ear, meet me in the janitor's closet at lunch, I'll be waiting.

I walked down the hallway towards the janitor's closet. But before I got there I saw Bear, the school bully. The hallway was deserted. I felt so stupid, Why did I not notice before? Then it occurred to me. It was a trap! Jett had set me up! I felt anger rising inside me. But before I could move, Bear spoke.

'Well well well! What do we have here?'

I shrunk back, I must have looked scared because Bear advanced towards me.

'You're cute! I haven't noticed you before!'

Oh god, I thought, he's flirting with me!

'W-why are you here? What do you want from me?'

It sounded better in my head. I had made even more of a fool of myself.

'Well let me just say you are looking very nice today'

He ran a hand down my cheek, I went stiff with fear.

'D-don't t-touch me!'

I mustered.

'Well look at you! She has spirit!'

I felt a hot tear roll down my cheek, my insides were screaming.

'What have you to be be AFRAID OF?'

He slammed his hand onto the locker behind me, shaking the floor.

'So... tell me why exactly are you choosing to disrespect me?'

'I-i'm not-'

'SILENCE!'

He yelled. And that's when it occurred to me. It was a Friday! The teachers were in the staff room! I knew what I had to do. I had to scream. Scream like I never had done before. But I just couldn't. I was too scared. He was about to say another word before he froze. A thin blue sheen started to creep up his body. It was ice!

But this was just the beginning
