Lionkit opened his eyes and saw blurry light. Lionkit thought he must just have been born. He tried to open his eyes all the way, but it hurt them too much. Lionkit kept on trying but it was useless. Lionkit's eyes got really sore. So he fell asleep until they would work. It had been two days. Lionkit woke up and his eyes worked. He looked around at his surroundings. He was in a small cave with a lot of leafs and vines on the floor. He was in the Nursery Den. He was thirsty. That's when Lionkit saw his mother drinking from a small watering hole in the den. So he went over and stood by his mom, and started to drink. Then he got hungry really hungry. Lionkit saw a huge pile of small mice in the corner of the Nursery Den. He went over and dragged a mouse over to were he was sleeping at, and started to eat. He wandered all over the den and explored. It was night and he was tired. So he trotted back over to were he was sleeping before. He lied down on the soft leafs and vines and went to sleep.
