"Seriously, Bella, if you go on like this you're gonna face-plant in front of all those people tomorrow when you walk down the aisle." I muttered where I stood at the other end of the porch as far away from leech lover as I possibly could, not that it was helping, but the large cup of blood I was clinging onto for dear life was."Oh, would you stop being so negative!" Alice asked exasperated and grabbed a hold of Bella's arm before she actually did fall flat on her face.
"She's right Alice," Bella sighed and looked down at her high heeled shoes in disgust. "I've been trying for three days now, it hasn't gotten any better. Can't I just go barefoot?"
"No, absolutely not!" Alice gasped appalled at the very idea of it. "Tomorrow is going to be perfect or so help me I will..."
"Where do you want them boss?" Emmett thankfully cut off her rant as he walked by us carrying a large decorative tree trunk on his shoulder.
Alice sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "On either side of the aisle."
Rosalie walked up behind him, also carrying a large stump in her arms. "Which aisle?"
"Does no one have vision?" Alice exclaimed exasperated and stomped off to help her siblings not mess up her "vision".
"What the hell?" I muttered and took a large gulp from my drink. The idea of drinking blood still disgusted me, but the scent and the taste was just so friggen good. I mean, not as good as pizza, but still.
"Yeah, these kinds of things turn her into a monster." Bella chuckled as we watched Alice yell at Emmet for dropping the tree trunks on one of the flower beds and then proceeded to violently beat him with one of her heels.
"Yeah, no shit." I scoffed and noticed Bella moving closer to me, making me tense and shrink back, holding the cup of blood closer to my nose so I could smell that instead of her. Things would kinda be bad if I killed the bride right before her wedding day. But then again, I could tell Jasper was close by since I felt myself calm down a little.
And luckily Bella noticed since she back away with a sympathetic look on her face. The same look I get from everyone else, except of course Rosalie. She knows better.
Luckily the awkward silence was broken by Alice skipping up the stairs and grasping both of Bella's hands in hers. "Alright, now that that's taken care of, you need to get home and get some beauty sleep. And that's an order, so don't dare argue."
"Alright, I'm going." Bella surrendered and gave Alice a quick hug goodbye. I could tell she contemplated on giving me one, but she quickly thought against it and just sent an awkward wave in my direction, in which I just returned with a slight nod. I was happy she was finally leaving, now I can relax and not keep thinking about drinking every drop of her blood until there's nothing left.
"And you," The angry pixie rounded on me. "Why aren't you helping. The wedding is tomorrow and everything needs to be..."
"Perfect, yeah, I heard you the first thousand times Alice." I sighed and downed the last of my drink. "Manual labour just isn't my thing. Never was never will."
Alice let out a heavy sigh and glared at the ground, looking as if she was really against saying what she was about to. "If you help us get all this ready by tonight, I will let wear whatever you want tomorrow instead of forcing you into that beautiful dress and shoes I picked out for you..."
"Even if I look like a hobo?" I smirked and leaned against the railing, enjoying myself immensely much I might add.
Alice's head snapped up and was about to argue, but she closed her eyes, gritted her teeth and took a deep, very deep, breath before regaining her composure. "Yes, even if you look like a homeless person."
