"Happy birthday!" I'm awoken from my sleep by voices yelling happy birthday. I open my eyes to José, Gemma, Jack, Lottie, Harry(Irwin), Sky, Reece, and Ms. Joy.
"Happy 13 sleepy head! C'mon get up, Gemma and Lottie have a whole day planned for you!" Jack smiles and hugs Sky. "And I have a surprise for you and Reece."
"What is the surprise?"
"I adopted Sky." He smiles and hugs Sky tighter in a fatherly way. She smiles and hugs him back.
"Yay! Sky, I'm so happy for you! Jack, can she still hang out here?"
"Of course, who am I to ruin your friendship?" He smiles.
"Come on! We all need to get to breakfast! Most kids are still sleeping, but some might be in the dinning hall alone." Ms. Joy smiles after she point towards the door.
"Come on guys lets get going." Lottie pushes everyone towards the door.
I walk to the small chest I keep my clothes in and decide on something a bit different today.
I put on a red and black plaid hoodie, gray denim jeans, my black combat boots, and my moms locket. After I'm finished dressing I quickly swipe my nails with quick-drying black nail polish. I put a dab of red lipgloss on and braid my hair in two French braids. I put on a silver ring with a skull, and spritz myself with some "Black Heart Beauty" from Hot Topic. Before I walk to the dinning hall, I change my phone case to match my outfit.

After I'm totally ready, I jump down the stairs (a regular thing now) and continue my small walk to the dinning room.
I walk in and everyone yells.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
Ava runs up and gives me a big hug. We've been practicing her song for 4 days now and she is so adorable. She wrote a song called Shoot. I wrote the music and she wrote the lyrics.
Sky and Reece walk up after Ava sits across from me and hand me two bags.
"Open them!"
"What did you get her?"
Voices ask and Gemma calls something out.
"Wait! Me and Lottie have a gift. We want you to open it last though."
I open the first medium sized bag and take out a bag to put spray cans in. The exact one I've had my eye on! Sky got me a bag for spray painting,
