Chapter 15

Romero Pov.

I can't believe my family would do this. We're already the richest gang in the world. Why do we need more money?

I look over at my precious girlfriend. I love her already, and I'm going to kill anyone who puts a frown on her perfect face.

Starting with that idiot Jose. I'm gonna murder him. Maybe not literally, but I wish.

He's such a piece of schnitzel~~ Kase's word, not mine.

My eyes scan the road as we enter a small town, it was nearing midnight and I was extremely tired.

I quickly pull into the first hotel I see and walk in, getting a room, before picking up Kase bridal style from the car. I take her into the hotel and lock the door, never know what is out there.

I carefully set her on the bed, and lay next to her, spooning her from behind.

Soon after, I slip away into the darkness that is sleeping.

4:53 same night (or morning)

"Stop! Stop! Don't hurt me please! I love him!" I hear Kase whimper beside me on the bed. She kicks her legs and screams.

"Kase, baby wake up. Cmon baby it's okay." I say to her and slightly shake her. She opens her eyes and her eyes widen in fear.

"N-no. You d-died. T-they killed y-you." She says, now in a sitting position, tears pouring from her beautiful eyes onto her acne-free cheeks.

"Shhhh. Baby it's ok. It's ok, I'm never gonna leave you." I say to her truthfully and lay her head on my shoulder. She cries into my shoulder and I rub her back, telling her everything will be ok every once in a while.

"Don't worry baby. I'll never leave you. As long as you don't leave me?" I ask her. She pulls away, we look into each other's eyes for about a minute. Her face almost angry. Before I comprehend what is happening, she slams her lips on my own. My eyes widen but I kiss her back. Slow and passionate. Gosh her lips are fricken soft. What this girl use?

My thoughts are cut off as she pulled away.

"Why would I leave you?" She says and pecks my lips again, smiling.

"Well dang." I say.

"What?" She says.

"That kiss! I can't go to bed now!" I say to her and she smiles.

"Then let's get back on the road. We need to run somewhere and get me some clothes. I feel gross." She says to me and I grab my keys and wallet, slipping them in my pocket along with my phone. I grab the hotel room keys and lock the door behind us before we get in the car. Oh my gosh I just realized its 4 in the morning.

Oh well. If she's ok with it, I'm okay with it. I've been staying up for weeks at a time for missions.

I get in the car, she is already waiting for me in the passenger seat.

"Walmart?" I ask her and she nods. I drive to the closest one and drop her off, telling her to grab me pants and a tshirt in my size before telling her I'm getting food.
