" Dragonpaw!! What in Starclan are you doing?!"
The muscular white furred apprentice turned towards his mentor and smirked. " I saw something in the bushes, but it ran off."
The grey furred mentor, glared at his apprentice. " Are you mouse brained? Why would you do that, I haven't even taught you any hunting moves yet!" he hissed.
Dragonpaw wasn't fazed by his mentor's anger and he narrowed his eyes. " Sorry about that, something just told me to go in for the kill." he meowed.
Cederheart glanced at him with an amused look. " You'll make a fine Shadowclan warrior." he purred. " Well, I suppose I could start you up with some hunting moves."
" Finally!" he smiled, rushing back to his mentor. Dragonpaw looked at him, waiting, but something caught his attention across the field. A familiar feeling pulsated through his coat. " What's over there?"
Darkshine glanced over where he was looking, and scowled. " That's Thunderclan, bunch of know-it-alls." he hissed. " Why?"
Dragonpaw looked at him, sensing his tense energy, and shook his head. " No, I was just curious." he smiled.
" Right..Well, before we start on hunting, I'm guessing the hunting patrol is back now, so we'll just head back to regain our energy." he meowed, already walking back. Dragonpaw followed him back, but something kept bothering him in Thunderclan.
They will be one but all....
I looked up, but nothing seemed there didn't seem right. Who was that?
" Dragonpaw!" Ghostheart came rushing to her son, licking him behind the ear.
" Mom!" Dragonpaw hissed, rubbing off her licks. " You don't have to lick me every time I come back!"
Ghostheart purred amused and sat down. " So how's your day so far?"
Dragonpaw looked at his mother and puffed out his chest. " Great, I almost caught a squirrel, but Darkshine scared it off." he huffed, glaring at his mentor.
" Now, now." Ghostheart meowed, her voice a bit sharp. " You said squirrels?"
" Yeah, I climbed the tree, but I couldn't get it." he smiled, but he sounded disappointed. Ghostheart looked at him and then back towards the ground. " Shadowclan cats don't climb trees, at least not at your age."
Dragonpaw widen his eyes. " Is that bad? Maybe I'm special?"
" Of course nothing's wrong with you!" Ghostheart gasped, cuddling her kit closer. " Dragonpaw...I promise you that you'll find your answers out very soon. Tonight, I think it's time that you meet someone." he whispered.
The night soon came and it was now time for Dragonpaw and Ghostheart to travel across the territory and finally they had made it to the Great Fortress.
" Wow!!!" Dragonpaw's eyes widen at the sight of the four trees merged together into one. Never before has he been here, and this might be the only time that he'll ever see it, well at least until he's welcomed to come to a Gathering. " Is this what you wanted to show me?"
Ghostheart smiled and shook her head. " No, it's something much more." she whispered. They both padded through the brush and leaves, until an unfamiliar voice came from just ahead.
" Ghostheart?"
Ghostheart smiled and rushed towards the voice, and Dragonpaw unfamiliar to the voice, followed his mother. Suddenly they were faced with a great big white tom, with bright blue eyes. " Mom? Who is he?"
