"I'm 17 now dad! You can't tell me what to do! I don't know you! Just piss off!".

"Fine Tina, Do whatever the fuck you want. Just because your mum and I aren't on good terms, doesn't mean that you can act in this type of way, Do you understand me, Girl?"

"I don't care about the fact that you and mum aren't on good terms!" I was on the verge of crying.

"I don't know what it's like to have a dad because you was never here for me! I'm hurt but you don't see that!" I yelled back.

The room was silent after I had my out burst.

I need to cool off.

I walked out of my house, Sitting on my porch. Crying in defeat and disappointment.

"Hey" I heard a deep voice. I looked up and it was one of my Secondary (High) school best friends.

"Oh my god, Ethan!". I leaped up and gave him a tight hug. He hugged me back. "Holy shit, I haven't seen you since we were 12" I say wiping my tears off.

"I know, It's been a long time right? Anyways, What's up?" He asked.

"Just had a little argument with the devil" I say.

"Come on Tina, be serious" He say's furrowing his eyebrows.

"Daddy issues and that" I say starting to cry again.

"Whose that man looking through you dining room window?"

I turn around. "Oh, That's my so called "dad" " I say gesturing my fingers.

"I've never seen him before. He never used to pick up you after primary school."

"I know. He came into my life like 2yrs ago, Can you believe?" I say.

"To be honest, I really can't believe it" He laughs to himself.

"Ethan, It's been a long time since we actually hanged together. Are you free tonight?" I asked.

Ethan has literally matured. Stronger jawline, Deeper voice. The way he runs his fingers through his long, thick brown hair. It's been 5 years and to be honest, His piping hot.

"Yeah, I'm down to hang out with you. What's your number"

"Sure" I say hugging Ethan one more time. We both went our separate ways.
