Chapter 40

2 hours later

I finally gave birth too my babies. They're so beautiful. They literally resemble me and Ethan. The boy has Ethan's eye shape mixed in with my nose shape.

I'm in love. I'm in awe.

And for my babygirl, she looks exactly like me when I was a baby. This felt unreal that I'm having a family of my own. I can have a relationship with our children. The relationship I've never had with my dad.

"Babe, you fucking did it" Ethan hugs me and kisses the twins forehead.

"What do you wanna call them?" I smiled at Ethan and looked over to my babies.

"Meredith and-"

"Ethan, shut up" I smiled then laugh

"Alright, I'm just kidding babe" He rubs his thumb on my cheek. "What about Scarlet and Jermaine." (J Cole reference😂)

"Sure, I love that" I say as I wrap my arms around Scarlet and Jermaine.

"I need to capture this moment." Ethan says as he pulled out his phone. "Smile"

I smiled for the picture. I'm extremely relieved. I'm so happy.

"I'm posting this. This is the most cutest photo I have in my camera roll" He said as he smiled at his phone.

"So how are you feeling miss Gray?" The nurse asks me. "

"Abit sore, but I'll get over it" I say as I try to crack a smile. I'm happy, but I'm so tired. I just want to sleep. 

"We can't stay here for long Nurse. We have a flight in two days so we have to go like tomorrow" Ethan addresses the nurse.

"Oh, well I can discharge you early and class it as an emergency discharge"

"Perfect" He smiled at the nurse.

"I can discharge you after the babies have been checked out first. Then you'll be free to go" She says as she walks over to my babies and takes them into a room full of nurses.

"You're free to go!" The nurse says as she passes Scarlet and Jermaine in my arms. Ethan wheeled me out of the hospital. The cool breeze made me cool and made me feel less tense.  20 minutes later we was finally home.

"Transport me"

"Where babe?" Ethan asks.

"To our bed and bring scarlet and Jermaine please"

"Okay baby." He smiled. "Today's been a long day but it was worth it right?"

"Hell yeah." I laugh.

Ethan puts me on the bed, then puts the twins next to me.

"Hopefully we'll have more babies that takes up the whole of this bed" He laughed.

"We need a bigger bed already. Looks like you're sleeping on the floor tonight".

"Haha, you thought" He chuckled.

Ethan sat on the end of the bed and fell asleep.
