Only You Can Save Me

Chapter 2

Harry's POV

As soon as she walked into the club, I'd knew I had to have her. She was just so...innocent yet so beautiful and captivating. She walked over to the bar and she started talking to him. Joe. I felt myself tense up at the thought of him. They were now dancing and I watched them intently as I saw Joe lead her to the exit of the club to a dark alley outside of the club. I tried to tell myself it was nothing but as time passed, I knew that fucking prick would pull something. I pushed past the drunk people dancing in the club to get to the exit of the club. As soon as I got out to the pitch black alley I saw Joe trying to rape the girl. I stormed over to him, raging with anger and pushed him to the ground. One punch was all it took for him to become unconscious.

Demi's POV

The emerald green eyes were no longer as light as they once were when I saw him watching me in the club. They were dark and even though Joe was already knocked out, he continued to throw punches at Joe. He looked as beautiful as an angel but now he seemed so...evil. Relentless and cruel, not wanting to stop. "Please stop.. Your going to kill him!" I tried to yell at the still unknown stranger but it came out more like a shaky breath considering I was just almost raped. I was now standing up and he looked up at me, his eyes locking with mine. It seemed as if he'd forgotten I was still there. He finally stopped beating up Joe and he let out a long sigh. I couldn't believe what just happened. All I wanted to do was curl up in a ball and cry. "Y-You saved me." I said in what sounded like a sob. He looked up at me, his eyes were lighter now. "Are you okay?" he asked me with sincerity in his thick British accent. "I don't know...I-I'm fine." I said and it sounded like I was trying to convince myself that I was fine. I looked down at his hands and clothes which were splattered with Joe's blood and for a split second I felt a little afraid of the unknown male but for some strange reason I had the feeling that he wouldn't hurt me. Before he had time to respond, I spoke again, "Why were you watching me in the club?" I asked him. It might sound like an odd question to ask considering the circumstances but it's been bugging me all night. "I just thought that you looked beautiful." he responded nonchalantly. I blushed a bit at his compliment but was still a little creeped out. "Why did you save me? I mean how did you know that he was going to take me out here?" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders, " I didn't know for sure but I do know Joe and I know the guys trouble." he said now looking down towards Joe's body. He looked so lifeless and I wondering if he was even still breathing. I know it sounds horrible but I hoped he wasn't after what he tried to do to me. "What's going to happen to him?" I asked with no emotion in my voice, which kind of scared me. "Don't you worry about that. I'll take care of him." he said through gritted teeth. I let out a sigh and realized I didn't even know know his name, nor did he know mine. "I'm Demi." I finally broke the silence. He locked his eyes with mine, "Harry. Do you have anybody here with you, Demi?" he asked me with his husky British accent. "Yeah. Um I should probably be getting back to them.." I said turning on my heel but turned around to face him once more.

"Thank you... If you wouldn't have stop-." My voice cracked at the thought of what Joe would've done to me. he shook his head, "Don't worry about it, Demi." he said and I couldn't help but feel an attraction towards him. I just nodded and walked inside of the club to find my friends. I got some horrified looks from people in the club. Did I really look that bad? I finally spotted Ashley, Selena and Ariana and practically ran over to them. "Oh my god Demi we've been looking for you everywhere!" Ariana said frantically "Demi, what the hell happened to you?" Ashley now said with concern, realize my appearance and how distraught I was. "I just want to go home, please."
