When I got home from school the next day, I went upstairs to read my book for literature...It. Was. Horrible. In the middle of reading my mom called me downstairs eat dinner. "Aynalise dinner is ready!!" "Coming!" I yelled back as I was walking down the stairs. Mmmmm, it smells like hamburgers!!!! My favorite!!!! When I got into the dining room my mom was sitting at the dinner table waiting for me to arrive. One thing I would never get used to is not having my dad around anymore....sure I talked to him on the phone occasionally but I haven't seen him since about 6 months after I was diagnosed with cancer. He and my mom hit a rough patch when we found out, they started blaming the other for my cancer, when in all reality it was no ones fault. After they had gotten divorce my dad packed up and moved to Maine without a second guess or regret. But that was the past and I wouldn't let it ruin my future no matter how much I might miss him. "Hey mom" I said. "Hey sweetie, I made your favorite tonight. Hamburgers with mac n'cheese." She said with a smile on her face. My face bloomed with a gigantic smile when she said that " Thanks mom, it looks ready good!" I told her. Dinner was phenomenal to say the least. After dinner I helped my mom bring the left overs and the dishes into the kitchen. In the midst of caring the plates to the kitchen sink I started to feel really really dizzy. I figured I just stood up to quickly or something and it would go away in a second. But instead, it only got worse. When I was standing at the kitchen sink washing the dishes and handing them to my mom who was loading them into the dishwasher my nose started to bleed and I started to feel even more dizzy and mom noticed. The next thing I knew I was in the floor and the last thing I rember hearing was "Aynalise!!! Stay awake sweetie!!!! The paramedics will be right here!!!! Aynalise, sta-" and then the world was black.
