Chapter Nine:
McKenzie's Point Of View:
"Austin, I'm scared.." I admitted, looking around. He placed his hand on my knee.
"I'm here, babe. Everything is okay."
I smiled slightly, and stayed quiet for the rest of the ride. We finally arrived at my surprise, and I furrowed my eyebrows. Austin opened my door, and helped me out.
"Surprise."
"A tattoo parlor?" I asked, looking at the small building in front of us, as Austin wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him. The parlor was actually called Stevie's Tattoo Place.
I gulped.
"Remember that day that we were in the guest room in your house, and we were talking about getting tattoos?" Austin asked me. I looked away from the building, and nodded at my boyfriend. "Well, you said you wanted a tattoo.." He motioned toward the parlor.
"Oh, um.. I.."
"If you don't want to get one, that's fine." He told me, cupping my cheeks with both his hands. "But I'm getting one." He smirked. I rolled my eyes. "You can get those birds you wanted on your wrist," He grabbed my left wrist.
"Austin Carter Mahone, is this even legal? We're seventeen." I said. He shrugged.
"These people don't care." He told me. I giggled.
"You can get a tattoo. I think I'll get one when I'm eighteen." I told him. He chuckled.
"Alright Princess." He kissed my forehead. We walked inside and my breathing hitched.
This.. Is scary..
I shrugged off the thought, and Austin led me to a guy. He had long hair, pulled into a low ponytail. His arms were covered in tattoos and he had a beard. "Hey man," Austin shook his hand.
"Hey! Austin." The guy smiled.
"Ty, this is Kenzie. My girlfriend. Kenzie, this is Tyler." I shook the guys hand, and sent him a smile.
"Nice to meet you, buttercup." He chuckled.
I smiled. "You too."
"Alright, which one of you want a tattoo?" Tyler asked.
"Me," Austin said.
Tyler motioned for him to sit on the chair, and he put long some gloves before resting both of his hands on his knees. "What can I do for you?" He asked.
"Since its my first, I want a small little lock, right here." Austin lifted his shirt slightly, to reveal above his waistline.
Tyler smiled. "You and your dad had the same mind, you know that?" He said, and Austin smiled.
"Yea.." His voice was just above a whisper.
Tyler chuckled, grabbing the little needle-gun thingy that he was going to use to given Austin the tattoo. I couldn't help but smile at the way Austins eyes shimmered when he was talking about his dad.
It was cute.
Austin looked up at me and chuckled. "What?" He asked, before taking off his shirt.
Sweet baby Jesus..
"Nothing.." I shook my head, and he leaned back on the chair, giving me a look. I giggled, and took his shirt from his hands.
My eyes widened and my heart almost jumped out of my chest when Tyler turned on the thingy. Austin laughed at me, and I glared at him.
