Jaxon went home Sunday and the rest of the weekend was okay. But now it's Monday and my alarm won't stop going off. Time to get ready for work. I threw my hair into a sloppy bun, applied mascara and put on black ripped jeans and a black t-shirt. When I got to work I clocked in and threw my apron on, quickly starting to take coffee orders. Working at the local café wasn't too bad, but today dragged on until I closed up at 11pm. I unlocked my phone to see 8 missed calls from jax along with 5 text messages.

"You don't actually love me"
"You still loveehim"
"Babr come overp"
"I'm drynk"
"Call meee"

Instead of calling I went straight to his house to find out he wasn't even there. I dialed his number.

"Babe where the hell are you"
Through the laughing and slurred speech I managed to hear him say he was at his friend Ronnie's house.

"I'm on my way" and I hung up.
His friend Ronnie was a real fucking ass, he hung out with my previous ex. Not looking toward to dealing with my drunk boyfriend and his shitbag choice of friends I lit a joint. When I got to his friend's house I barged right in not even bothering to knock. I ran to the basement knowing that's where they'd be. Jaxon Ronnie and 2 random ass chicks were all laying across the couch drinking beer and slurring nonsense.

"BAAAabe you made ittt" Jaxons face lit up.
I told him I was gonna take him home and he told me he didn't want to. I began walking to him when all of a sudden someone came out of the bathroom.
To my fucking surprise there he stood.

"Landon?" I exclaimed
He smirked, "yours truly."

I looked to my boyfriend then to my douchebag ex boyfriend and nearly lost it. How could my boyfriend be in the same room drinking with the guy who tried to sexually assault me more than once??

"are you kidding me Jaxon?"

" what's wrong baby, why don't you sit down?"

"Are you seriously gonna ask me what's wrong?? YOU ARE HANGING OUT WITH MY EX BOYFRIEND WHO YOU KNOW TREATED ME TERRIBLE!!"

"He came when I was already here. I didn't wanna leave drunk and I was having fun" - that's when one of the girls made a joke
"we sure we're having fun" she giggled.

I laughed in disbelief.
"I'm leaving!" I said to Jaxon and I seen something in him sober up.
I quickly turned around as I heard him yell for me to wait.

I got in my car and drove off, past Ronnie's house, past my high school, past Jaxon's house, past my own house. All I wanted to do was cut, or drink, or relapse on something, I didn't know what I wanted to do. I didn't know where I was even going.. That was until I pulled into the parking lot. In bright letters the sign lit up "tattoo café" I grabbed my bag and headed inside.

"What can I get for ya pretty lady?" Asked a bearded tall man.

"Two things; a blunt and a tattooed semi colon on my inner wrist bone."

He smiled and took me into the back where I did something I've been wanting to do for a long time. The tattoo man asked me what I was doing here, I explained getting a tattoo was better than causing harm to myself. my tattoo held a significant meaning telling me to continue no matter what. Wherever this night took me and Jaxon I were to continue on. No matter how bad the outcome would hurt. I felt my phone buzz and seen Jaxon calling, I denied the call and began hitting the blunt. I asked the man to play bob Marley and before I knew it I had a semi colon tattoo on my wrist, a belly button piercing and the tattoo Guy's number in case I needed to rant about anything else. It was now 2am and I didn't feel like going home. I had about $100 left on me so I went to a local diner and got a breakfast sandwich with hash browns and a huge ass smoothie. I stayed there until about 3am. That gave me a couple more hours to explore this part of town. I walked to bookstores, weed shops and I even came across a music store. I bought a few things including some CDs and a new ukulele, I figured I could learn some new songs this summer. It was 5am by the time i got back to my car. Perfect to watch the sunset. I went to a cute little beach area and walked along shore taking pictures of the scenery. I was thankful I was able to get away from my life for a night. But on the drive back home reality began to sink back in.
