What is #bananapride?

Welcome to the #bananapride movement, started by ohmybears, musicnote27, and Izzybee_Wright. Since I'm terrible at actually explaining things, here's a list of what this is all about:

1. This will be a place dedicated to nerdy, shy, socially awkward, overly anxious people on wattpad. Come here to commiserate about that time you hid in the library instead of going to lunch because you didn't know anyone! (musicnote27 has definitely never done this) Or that time the waitress didn't hear you say not to put any butter on the bread because you're allergic, and you're too awkward to say anything, so you just don't eat! (musicnote27 has definitely never done this either). Trust us, no matter what you say, we will not judge.

2. We'll also have different sorts of writing projects / talks / contests / virtual internet parties, so it'll be fun. We'll provide the virtual chocolate for snacks.

3. We have a lot of pride in our love for bananas. musicnote27 in particular believes that bananas have magical healing properties, and has been known to kidnap random people to acquire more bananas. (don't judge her)

4. We welcome everyone! I mean, as long as you're not an axe murderer or some other kind of creepy internet stranger, join us!

5. If you're a nerdy/shy/unsociable/introverted/not-liking-people-y person or are writing about a nerdy/shy/unsociable/introverted/not-liking-people-y person, then tag your story with #bananapride, and we'll add it to an appropriate reading list on our account (and if you tag your story with the hashtag and we miss it because we either got busy or messed up (the messing up part will probably be ohmybears, btw), then feel free to PM us!)

6. If you either are socially awkward or support the socially awkward, then tag your profile with the hashtag to spread the word about the movement!

7. Are there too many exclamation points in these last few points on the list?! Probably!
