"You ok?" Jax asked softly in my ear.

I ignored her continuing to lug Louis down the hallway on my back. We still hadn't ran into anyone, but I'm guessing now that Niall was no longer with us our safe passage was compromised.

I didn't want to linger to find out.

I finally saw the doorway and picked up my pace slightly. It was literally the light at the end of the tunnel. Stepping outside I expected to see guards or at least people, but no one was there, I wondered if Niall dispite betryaing me was still helping me a little. Scoffing to myself I pushed that thought from my mind, he was evil, nothing he did would be for my benefit anymore.

Jax was waiting for me at the car as I approached she slid the door to the back of the van open and i shoved louis inside with little care. He groaned slightly as his head bumped into the door but I needed to get out of here and he was lucky I didn't leave him behind with Niall.

I jumped into the front seat behind the wheel as Jax climbed over the middle console into the back with Louis. She examined him as I shoved the keys into the ignition and pushed my foot down on the accelerator propelling us forward.

"Easy Liam!" Jax lectured from behind me but I ignored her again and pushed down the pedal all the way to the floor picking up more speed. Jax didn't speak again for a few minutes and I drove in silence.

"Where are you going?" Jax finally asked breaking the silence. I sighed realizing that I was just driving around like a crazy person with no real destination in mind.

"I don't know." I admitted.

"My place?" Jaz suggested.

"We can't go back there. Niall knows where you live."

"He know's where we all live."

"Fuck!" I swore loudly. Louis moaned as I turned a corner still driving aimlessly. I looked at both of them in my rearview mirror. "Does he need a hospital?" Jax shook her head.

"He will live and two bruises like that and the one you have will be a huge tip off for a shooting. We go the hospital and we only get more trouble."

"Then what?" I snapped harshly.

"How am I supposed to know?" Jax hissed starting to get angry herself.

I pulled off the road and grabbed my phone out from my pocket. I dialed a number from my contact list. "Hey, it's me." Liam spoke, "I need a hideout, like a loft or something discreet, I can't  tell you why but I need it now."

Liam didn't speak for a moment or two, just listening to the other side of the conversation, Jax watched him in amazement. Every once in a while he would interject with short phrases like, "I don't care" and "Cash, no name" but for the most part he just listened.

"Thanks, send me the address." He finally spoke again and hung up.

"What was that?" Jax asked.

"I called my realtor."

"Your realtor?"

"Yes." His phone buzzed and he read a text then turned the car back on and pulled back out into the street. About five minutes later we pulled up to a nice building with a gate in front of the driveway.

"Where are we?" I asked.

"My new loft." Liam answered casually. I glanced at him sideways and he returned my look with a shrug. "What? Sometimes money is helpful." He punched in a code for the gate and it opened without resistance.
