Chapter 8:The Flowers Of Love

The rest of the day went normal. I'm thinking about my father. I haven't met him since a few hours ago. I still have to clear something up. The golden trio were at their dorm. They offered me to hang out with them for a while but I said I want to rest.

I walk towards my father's office when I turn corner I bumped into none other than Draco malfoy. He's holding me in my waist to prevent me from falling flat onto my face.

"Draco, it's you," I said trying to calm my heart down. It's beating crazy in my heart and the butterfly in my stomach.

"Yeah", he said putting me on my feet.

"I haven't see you properly since yesterday", I replied smiling.

"Miss me already? He said smirking at me.

I can felt my cheeks turn to crimson. Merlin why am I acting like this?

"I'm joking, no need to get so serious about it", He said chuckling putting both of his hands inside his pockets.

"I heard the news", he said turn serious suddenly.

I nodded my head and my only response is "oh".

He turn his eyes down looking at his feet.

"Uh... I should... probably go now", Draco said.

He's started to walk away not bothering to wait for my reply.

I continued walk to my father's office and said "sherbet lemon" and the Phoenix step aside allowing me to came in.

"Ah... Evangeline what a pleasant surprise", he said twinkling in his eyes.

"Yeah, I just want t spend a time with my father", I said shrugged.

We talked for hours. I looked around his offices admiring all the books. I have a strange obsessed books. I looked at my father admiring his feature. I noticed a black bruised on his hands. He doesn't realize I was looking at it.

"Oh I haven't seen your wand yet didn't I? My father said softly.

"Oh yeah, wait a sec..ond", I said while searching for my wands at my sling bag.

I handed it to him. He looked at it shocked. He traced his hands over the wand admiring it's core.

"You're more powerful than what I thought", He said in awed.

I looked at him confuse by his statement.

"You have to keep this wand save,it's the most loyal wand in the world, more powerful than the elder wand", he said.

I nodded and decide to went to my dorms.

(Dumbledore's POV)

Now i'm became more sure that I can trust her with the task I will handed her over later.I know she's more than capable to look after the Hogwarts and the student when I'm gone.

I sighed counting on how much time that left before I left her.

(Evangeline's POV)

I went straight to the slytherin's kitchen to make some coffee. I sat at the table and thinking about everything when suddenly someone decide to clearing his throat. I looked behind me while trying to stand I bumped into him again. I fall on to the top of Draco our noses touching slightly making me shudder.

"Ouu, we should stop meeting like that", I said wincing.

He's just chuckle and I move to stand but he grabbed my elbow and kissed me. I kissed him back . I can feel the sparks when his lips touch mine. I pulled back after realizing what just happened.
