Pain
Cutting through my veins with a blade
Healing from the wound of words
Living a life under the shade
Nesting the demons like birds

Crying in the corridors of hell
Wishing that I never met you
Feeling lost inside my shell
Wondering why the sky is blue
~~
Left stranded on the island of hate
Silencing my screams with a piece of tape
This is what is in my fate
Thinking you were my escape
~~
Throwing in the pond my ring
Stepping up on the roof in this rain
I let go of the last string
Hoping this will end the pain
