2:00 am smelled like cheap perfume and tobacco. The night air was filled with smog, and there was a puddle on the cement sidewalk that looked a little too orange and chunky to be anything other than vomit.

Tomo side-stepped out of the way avoiding it in her stilettos, and plucked a stray feather from her hair. She dusted down her red frilled dress of the glitter and confetti that was embedded all over the fabric from her late night extravaganza.

She never goes clubbing, and the one day she had agreed to go with Korai and Cyntacia it ended with a few fights, a couple of bruises, and lots of police. So she got her ass out of there and made her 2 mile journey home. It obviously was not ideal to walk in heels what with the the velvety material of the shoe already giving her blisters, but seeing approximately two puddles of vomit and a rat giving birth, she would prefer to keep her shoes on.

They made a click clacking noise against the pavement, and it became rhythmic and almost therapeutic in a way. So when another echo of shoes begin bouncing off the walls of the alley way it caught her attention.

She peeked over her shoulder, attempting to be subtle, and saw a man in a black hoodie, holding a cigarette between his teeth, and hands shoved into the pockets of his dark washed jeans.

At first, she doesn't think much of it. "Perhaps he's just making his way home or leaving from a late night job" But she leaves those thoughts in the dust when Tomo leads him around the maze of apartment buildings, and after 30 minutes he is still tailgating her.

She's not dumb enough to lead him back to her home, but she has definitely noticed the gap between them shrinking down in size with each increasing minute.

So when she see's the "open" neon light sign in the window to what looks like a strip club, she takes the opportunity and slides pass the bouncer holding out her I.D. for him to see.

It's warm, and she doesn't realise how cold it was outside until now.

She sits herself down at a barstool and glances at the entrance to make sure her friend didn't make it in and luckily she sees no one. And by no one, she literally means no one. The audience seats are empty along with the stage and she shuffles in her seat, a bit uncomfortable until out of the curtain comes a figure.

He was tall, wearing a male jumper and tannish looking slacks and dress shoes. He looked almost albino with white wavy hair and sky blue eyes, a stupid grin spread across his face, and Tomo thinks he's kind of cute.

He spotted her and smiled with a wave of his hand as he headed toward the exit. She was about to let him go not really thinking about it, but than as it pushed to the forefront of her mind she realized that if she leaves him on his way and returns back out into the night...

"Hey, wait..."

He stopped his hand resting on the half pushed open door, and turned his head to face her. Tomo hopped off the stool and walked towards him, and when finally close enough she interlaced their fingers. To her surprise he didn't let go, holding her hand with the same amount of pressure she was giving.

"What're you.."

"I need to get back to my flat, but I have an asshole who has been following me the entire way back, and I would very much like someone to accompany me the rest of the way. You don't need to do anything besides walk with me,"

It's not like she was going to take no for an answer. She would bribe, threaten, and hurt to get what she wants. Hell ,she would even do the "deed" with him(Considering that he was some what attractive). Just as long as she got home it didn't matter. But, like before he surprised her.

"Okay,"

It was such a simplistic answer that it was almost stupid in a way. He was willing to walk with a random stranger at 2:30 in the morning with no questions or remarks. This guy really was stupid.

With there fingers still interlaced he pushed the door the rest of the way open and let Tomo slide out first before stepping out himself.

Then they were off, walking down the alleyways as Tomo kept an eye out for the hooded man, but luckily it looked like he had scampered off, gone and out of sight. She sighed out a breath she didn't realize she had been holding, but still she didn't want the albino man to leave.
