After getting ready, I sneak into Cila's room, which was freezing, with a note and some morning coffee and set it on her nightstand beside her. I didn't make breakfast because my brother said he would make it when he arrived.

As I walk in I got hit with a blast of cold air that penetrated the skin and made me cold to the bone. I looked around, swearing I saw ice growing on the walls. Cursing under my breathe, I look at my ghost hunting partner. She was fast asleep, curled up in a cocoon with her soft blanket she had stolen from me, clearly thankful that there was no investigation today to go to. We've been quite busy lately and I believe it was taking a toll on her. She really needed today off. I hope what we have plan will help her. With this, I decided not to yell at her later about this.

I quietly tip toe over to her air conditioner and turn it down. I couldn't believe it! It was all the way up to nine, the highest setting, so I turn it down about three notches. She always loved her room ice cold, like an ice box. She jokes about hiding penguins and polar bears in her room. Ghost and I would smile or laugh a bit but Toast cracked up so hard I though maybe he would fall to the ground a die from laughter.

He just adores her but can't seem to tell her or even attempt to, which pains me. Cila is so lonely sometimes and I see her depression worsening and it scares me, and with all these investigations we've been getting, it's making it worse it seems. I love her too much to just stand there and watch it happen, her falling deeper into that hole of sadness. That's why I arranged today's party for her, thinking maybe it'll help her better then those stupid pills that make her a totally different person. I sigh softly and look at her, slightly smiling, quietly walking over to her.

"I'll see you later, Madam..." I quietly say in barely anything more then a whisper as I kiss her forehead. I quietly leave the room, closing the door silently and walked out to the living to wait for Ghost to arrive at our apartment. As soon as I went to sit down on the couch, I heard a knock at the door. I got up and went over to it, opening the door with a smile.

"Good mornin', beauty..." He says, smoothly, as he stared at me with his shining blue eyes that I just loved, a smile plastered on his face. He stepped into our small apartment, closing the door, his skin brushing against mine.

"Morning, handsome... " I say as I stood on my tippy toes, since I was smaller then him, to plant a soft kiss on his stubble free cheek. He embraced me and kept his hands wrapped around my waist. He looked into my brown eyes, running his fingers through my long, silky, brown hair, pulling me close. He then mashed his lips into mine, kissing me. An even larger smile appeared on his face over the last as I began to kiss back. We stood there, in the frame of the door, kissing, our lips moving in perfect sync with each other, first slow, then faster. When we finally stopped, we stared into each other's eyes, smiling, our lips a big, red, and puffy from the contact our lips had made.

"I guess we should get going, Ghost..." I sighed, smiling. Ghost nods, doing the same, as I turn and run into the kitchen grabbing my detective style hat and tan trench coat. I quickly put them on, shoved my phone in my pocket, and grabbed a large, brown bag of stuff, for the party, glancing at the clock. 8:05... Good, we're right on track... I walked back to Ghost who was outside the door, waiting. I closed the door, locking it, and we started our way down to the car. I really hope this goes well...
