Chapter 2 - Losing Concentration

Lenka's POV
Ow... That hurts... And a lot. But I think the person I bumped into was hurt even more. I look up and saw—

Lenka: *blushes slightly* Eh? Rinto? Why are you here?
Rin: Onii-chan!!
Rinto: Don't blame me. Blame my consciousness. It's telling me that I just can't go to sleep if I'm in missing the class.
Rin: Blah blah blah! You and your "consciousness" thingy! Just shut up and leave onii-chan!

Rinto looked at me and because of that, I looked away from him.

Rinto: Lenka...
Lenka: *shocked* *looks back at him* What?
Rinto: Do you want that?
Lenka: Want what?
Rinto: Do you want me to go home?
Lenka: Eh? Why are you asking me?
Rinto: Because...
Lenka: Wait! This isn't my problem. You're from 9-A and I'm 9-C so you're not my classmate.
Rinto: *sigh* Okay fine. Rin, you win. Bye I guess.
Rin: Bye onii-chan~ Be careful on the way home~
Rinto: *sighs*

Hm... Why could he ask me if I want him to go home because of his lack of sleep or to stay here at school? Ah! So confusing!

Rinto's POV
Why do I like Lenka now? I mean, more than friends, I guess? Geez Rinto, you always mess up things. Well, nothing happened when I'm driving and safely got back home. But as I look around the house, I couldn't help but think about Lenka. Her eyes, her smile, her words and encouragements; Everything! But how I'm thinking right now is just fantasy. Lenka only likes me as a friend and basically, that's all. That's why I try to hang out with other girls but that's somewhat no use. As I think all of that, I slowly fell asleep in the couch.

Lenka's POV
Ah! Was I that mean? Could I do that thing? Lenka please, think better than that. Could he have a crush on me? But, that's impossible, right? Ugh... I don't know anymore.

*bells rings; starting of class: Math*

Lenka: Hm... *looks at the clock*
Teacher: Ms. Lenka, stand up, can you tell me the answer to this question?
Lenka: I... Um... I-I don't know s-sensei...
Teacher: Okay, very well then. But, are you okay?
Lenka: Hai-!
Teacher: Sit down now and pay attention to class.

*sighs* I'm distracted way to much. I should really be focusing on my studies now...!

*time skip; recess*
Kaiko: Are you okay, Lenka-chan? You're thinking way too much, I see.
Lenka: Ahe... N-No need to worry about me, onee-sama. *waves hands in front of Kaiko and smiles* You should really focus on your studies. After all, you're the Top 1 in our class.
Kaiko: Are you sure? Well, you can tell me any problems you have. I can listen anytime.
Lenka: Thanks, onee-sama.
Kaiko: Um... Btw, you can call me Kaiko-chan since we're the same age!
Lenka: Y-You sure about that?
Kaiko: Yep~!

*someone is calling outside the classroom of 8-C*
Mikuo: Kaiko!
Kaiko: Mikuo~!
Mikuo: Hi Lenka!
Lenka: Ahe... Hello Mikuo. How are you?
Mikuo: I'm fine. Very, very, fine. *smiles widely and puts hands on Kaiko's shoulder* Isn't that right, Kaiko? *grins*

Mikuo: A couple~!

Kaiko: *sighs* At least you won't say it to anyone, right Lenka-chan?

Mikuo: Well, time is gold and we should get eating now! Lenka, join us.
Lenka: Erm... Y-You sure? You two should have more time by yourselves together.
Kaiko: Come on, Lenka-chan! Don't need to be shy! *whispers* Also, it'll make me and Mikuo like not in a relationship. I just want it to be private at the moment.
