Chapter 3 - Bonding Time with Kaiko and Mikuo

Kaiko's POV
Lenka is somehow distracted but as the president and Top 1 of 9-C, I should be responsible and care for my fellow classmates.

Kaiko: Lenka-chan, what would you like to order? Mikuo's treat. ^^
Mikuo: W-What-? Why me? *pouts*
Lenka: It's okay, Kaiko-chan. I'll pay my own order.
Kaiko: *threatens behind Mikuo* Please Mikuo... Be nice to Lenka-chan ^^#
Mikuo: *scared* A-Ah... Y-Yes... My t-treat... Lenka is my cousin after all. So what would you like, Lenka? *smiles*
Lenka: U-Um... Just order anything but don't forget to buy banana cake, please~?
Mikuo: Oh, okay. Come on, Kaiko! And we'll be right back, Lenka. Just stay here.
Lenka: Hai...

*a few minutes later*
Lenka: *distracted*
Mikuo: Aaaaaaannnndd-- We're back!
Kaiko: Oh... Lenka? Hello?
Lenka: A-Ah... Um... How long have you've been there?
Mikuo: Just now.
Lenka: O-Oh... I see.
Kaiko: Let's eat!
Mikuo: Here's your food, Lenka. *gives food to Lenka*
Lenka: T-Thank you— *shocked*
Kaiko: Eh? Is there something wrong, Lenka?
Lenka: I-It's mostly...orange-flavored... *whispers to herself* And reminds me of Rinto...
Mikuo: Yep! Except the cake because you said you wanted a banana flavor! ^u^

《Foods Mikuo ordered for Lenka: Banana Cake, Sliced Orange, Orange Juice, Fruit Salad (mostly oranges in), Orange-flavored Onigiri (Weird flavor actually), Dumplings (The only normal food that Mikuo bought) 》

《Note: Lenka is Mikuo's cousin and vise-versa so in a way, Mikuo knows that Lenka has a crush on Rinto and orange makes her remind of either Rin or Rinto.》

Kaiko: Eh? I didn't notice this. Mikuo, exchange the foods you have ordered.
Mikuo: Whaaaaatt?? Again??
Lenka: Y-You shouldn't, Mikuo. It's okay...
Kaiko: Are you sure, Lenka?
Lenka: *nods*
Mikuo: Okay then! Let's eat!

*after eating*
Kaiko: Oh, look at the time. We should go back to our room, Mikuo.
Mikuo: Bye, Kaiko. *hugs Kaiko*
Kaiko: Take care on your way back to your classroom.
Mikuo: Yeah, you also. And bye, Lenka. Nice hanging out with you.
Lenka: Thanks~
Kaiko: Come on, Lenka-chan! *pulls Lenka's hand*
Mikuo: *waves hand* Next time again!

Narrator's POV
And so, Lenka, Kaiko and Mikuo returned to their respective classrooms.

*bell rings; end of recess*
Kaiko: Oh nice... We just got back in time for class.
Lenka: Yeah! I'll focus on class now thanks to you and to Mikuo!
Kaiko: No problem, Lenka-chan! Hang out with us anytime. ^^
Lenka: I'll try. *smiles*

Lenka's POV
Kaiko-chan is the best! I've never been this happy since... Hm... When was the last time I was this happy? As I think of that, I have tried focusing on our lesson now.

*time skip; dismissal*

*sigh* At least, I survived those last three subjects. I don't know what will happen if Kaiko-chan and Mikuo-kun didn't comfort me. I'm thankful for them. ~-~

Rinto's POV
Hm... I wonder what has happened in school? Ugh Rin, I was there and ready for school and yet you made me go home. Now, I think I missed a lot in school. Grrr... Even online games didn't satisfy me. I do hope Lenka will be online soon. Or... I think I'll go out for a while.
