Stephen gulps watching Mya scurry off to find the others , for some reason he felt nervous being left alone with this little guy. He looks back at the young child who was watching him confused, Stephen clears his throat bringing him to sit on his hip .
"Hey, mummy is coming back soon," he says smiling at the void of express child.

He couldn't help but examine the child's features , with his stillness and silence he saw every little detail. From his almost invisible moles that was placed randomly around his cheeks , to his chubby cheeks , to his dark yet calming eyes . He looked so much like his mother ,Stephen couldn't help but melt for the child.
"I'll buy you whatever you want buddy , if mummy says no always ask me," Stephen bargains .

A smile slowly grew on Cameron's face , he showed his newly grown teeth clinging onto Stephen.
Stephen developed a new " friend " without realizing, those words might never leave Cameron as young as he was . He'd always remember this colorful eyed man's promise and would most likely contact him if he's in need .

"I always wanted a son," Stephen tells him before placing a kiss on his forehead.

Stephen knew that the child wasn't his to claim but he couldn't help but feel an instant connection to him.
"Food," Cameron says remembering his whaling stomach.
"Pizza?"
He nods excited imagining eating the cheesy food.

Mya comes back over with the two other children on each hand, pretending not to hear their entire exchange between her son and Stephen from the forehead kiss on.

"Ready ?" Stephen ask her smiling down at the confused Hayden .

Hayden had all right to be confused , as much as his little brain knew Mya didn't like Stephen or want to be with him . Or at least that's how she actedstuart twombly  whenever Hayden saw.

Mya

I tried to sit in the back but Stephen refused , saying he wanted me to sit with him in front. He told me to go in while he buckled the boys in; Cameron tighter and more secured than others. I decided to ignore his double checking with Cameron and let him do his thing , he got in quickly after and we set off to god knows where.

"I didn't know you had a son , he's- um really cute," he says dimming down the actual compliment he probably was thinking.
"Yeah he is ," I trail off trying to come of topic of Cameron.
"He doesn't look like Matthew at all," he jokes blatantly trying to say he doesn't look like he had a Caucasian father.
That statement I decided to ignore, since he was very right.
"So the engagement is going well then ?"
I nod slowly praying he'd stop the small talk and change the topic.
"No it's not ," Elijah interjects .

The first thing he has said for the majority of the morning and it was out of place . Of course.
Stephen glances at the mirror to watch him before looking over at me , he raised and eyebrow excepting an explanation but I stayed quite.
"Matthew and Mya fight a lot, I don't like it , he left for-" Hayden shushes him before he can finish his sentence and I internally thank my son.

"Okay..," Stephen says probably feeling uncomfortable bringing the children in this .
It was silent for a while before Stephen took a left turn and Elijah let's out an exaggerated gasp.
"No way!" I look back at him confused . "I know where we're going !"

He does? I didn't know he even knew parts of America well , other than the airport and our house.
"You do ?" Stephen says just ask shocked as I am.
"Yes , I came here with Matthew and his friend a little while ago," Elijah says staring out the
"Oh," was my reply.

I bit my tongue from asking any questions about this trip that they went on and I had no idea about. Maybe I'm just over reacting ,
maybe they came here before I meet them maybe that's a little while ago ...right?
