sinb jiggled her legs anxiously and fiddled with the pen in her hand as she waited for jeonghan so she could confront him. sinb hated lies and liars. and the thought of her about to befriend a liar scared her. she had no choice. it didn't matter if he was cute—

then, he sauntered into the hall, wearing black skinny jeans and a distressed tee. he looked carefree and didn't seem guilty at all about breaking sinb's perfect record.

"he kinda looks cute— stop it sinb. no but look how his hair just— seriously stop it." the two voices in her head bantered back and forth. sinb shook her head to snap out.

before he could even reach his seat sinb had already ran down the steps, grabbed jeonghan's wrist, and dragged him out the hall. sinb, for once, didn't care if anyone was watching.

"why did you lie to me?" sinb demanded as soon as they stopped.

a guilty look came onto his face for a split second, before returning to his normal monotonous look. he stayed silent.

"if you don't tell me right now i swear i will—"

"i didn't mean to."

"what?"

then his eyes turned to sinb.

"i didn't mean to. i didn't intend to lie to you."

"then why did you?"

"i just wanted to get closer."

and in that moment, everything practically collapsed.

for her anyways.

she couldn't help but stutter. "b-but you didn't have to lie. you could really say anything, like..." sinb wandered off. she wanted to say he could've invited her to his performance, but guess someone got a big ego and let her get the best of it.

but then, when she was about to speak up again, the bell rang again.

"i'm going back inside."

and he turned around and walked away from her, leaving her in a state that can only be described as bewilderment.

sinb thanked the heavens that school was finally over that week. one of her professors had a pop quiz and sinb mentally cursed herself for not reading the assigned chapter. she was just too busy practicing on her dancing to think about school.

... and him.

"sinb-ya!" yerin catched up to her and locked her arm around sinb.

"yerin! when did you get here?" the last time she knew, yerin was off on a sudden trip that her parents had dragged her along.

"they let me home early. i begged them because i miss my girls," she said, showing her eye smile and bunny grin. she was actually mocked a lot for her bunny grin but there were always the girls to help her.

"soooo, about jeonghan." yerin started, a teasing smile already forming. sinb mentally cursed again for the second time today. she knew the topic would come out; practically everyone had seen her drag the school band's visual singer out from class. people probably thought she was crazy for doing that. sinb had said she didn't care at that moment but she's regretting it now.

"i never even meant to drag him out like that. but i just, i burst," sinb tried explaining, but yerin shook her head, her brown hair waving around. "we know you mean well, girl. but don't you think you should apologise for kinda lashing out?"

sinb nodded slowly. she'd been thinking about it the whole day and it seemed like the perfect option. but of course, sinb thought about it again and thought about how it would probably waver her pride.

as they were walking, they noticed a large crowd around the bulletin board. sinb and yerin could barely make out umji's hair standing in front, pinning a sheet of paper on, while the rest looked on hungrily. "must be a big announcement," they both thought.

the girls decided to approach to see what the fuss was about. after pulling their friends out of the mass crowd that had grown since they got there, they could barely peek at the paper.

when part of the crowd had finally seen the announcement, they all wandered off to their own lives once again. only when it was much less crowded did sinb and yerin actually see the announcement.

it has been far too long since i uploaded :( im just finishing up schoolwork for the semester, i promise !! i'll be writing more and more lovely chapters for you guys !!

also if you don't know what an MT is, it's basically a big trip held by school for the students to build teamwork skills and just get closer to each other overall. many kdramas and even fanfictions have used it as a plot, and now me too :))

oh and i changed my twitter !! it was a personal account but i decided to change it into a gfriend stan twitter ! its @/yummyuju :)

another thing !! no longer using the intro picture because i just don't like it :p
