Chapter Two: Meet the Ghosts, Properly

Third Person POV

The whole of Mount Justice was woken up by two blood curdling screams. Everyone ran to the med bay, and saw two white haired teens thrashing around. "Robin, Miss Martian. Calm them down." Black Canary ordered. Robin went towards the boy and Miss Martian went to the girl. "Lasă-ne în pace!! (Leave us alone!!)" the twins shouted, tears streaming down their faces. Everyone was shocked, they didn't know what language they were speaking, but Robin was shocked because he knew what language they were speaking.

"Calmează-te. Vrem doar să ajutăm. (Calm down. We just want to help.)" Robin told them and they calmed down a bit and looked at him. Everyone had their attention on Robin and the two, shocked by what they didn't understand. "Te rog, calmeaza-te. Vrem să ajutăm. Noi nu putem, dacă vă păstrați în jurul valorii de bătaie. (Please calm down. We want to help. We can't if you keep thrashing around.)" Robin told him and they stopped thrashing. "Frate mai mare? (Big brother?)" they asked, looking at Robin. "Ce vrei sa spui? (What do you mean?)" Robin asked. The two looked at each other. *Should we tell him?* the girl asked. *We need to confirm it, so we know that we aren't alone, Sora.* the boy told her. *Ok Danny.* she said and they nodded.

"Poți avea toată lumea să plece și, te rog? (Can you have everyone else leave, please?)" the boy asked. "Sure." Robin said and looked towards everyone else. "They want to talk in private." he told them. They nodded and everyone else went back to their rooms, heading back to sleep. "So, what did you want to talk about?" Robin asked, turning his attention back to the twins. They nodded at each other and white rings went up and down their bodies, revealing a boy and girl with tattered clothes, raven black hair and icy blue eyes.

Robin gasped as he looked at them. He took his mask off to reveal his icy blue eyes to the two. "Frate mai mare! (Big brother!)" They shouted and launched themselves at Robin, tackling him into a hug. They started to groan in pain as their injuries pained them. "Ok. Get back on the beds." Robin said, laughing slightly at his younger siblings. Once they were back on the bed, Robin started to talk again.

"I haven't seen you since the orphanage. I thought you two were dead." Robin said in disbelief. "S-so did we." the girl said. "S-so, how's l-life been?" the boy asked. The three started to talk and catch up, laughing and acting like nothing had happened.

"So, how did you end up in that building?" Robin asked. "W-we were c-captured." the girl said. "How?" Robin asked. "I-In nets c-covered in a harmful substance to us." the boy said, looking at his sister. "What kind of harmful substance?" Robin asked, curious. "E-Ecto-Ranium. It's h-harmful to ghosts and..." the girl said, mumbling the last part quietly. "And what?" Robin asked. "And, halfas." the boy said softly, looking at his sister. "What's a halfa?" Robin asked, confused. "H-half human and h-half ghost." the boy said. "Wow. I think that I'm overwhelmed by this, completely not whelmed at all." Robin said, taking in the new info. The twins just snickered at their older brother.

"So, would you two like to meet everyone properly later, and probably become members of the team?" Robin asked, smirking at his younger siblings. "Yes. But we would be in our ghost form. Please don't tell the others." the boy said, looking at his older brother with pleading eyes. "I will. Get some rest." Robin told the two and put his mask back on, heading back to his room.

Once Robin left, the twins fell asleep, hoping that they didn't have another nightmare.
