When you hold me
it's a feeling of love
A hug from you
is all I can think of
"you're a good friend"
and now I'm trapped again
I want to say the worst thing
a teen can say
'I love you and with you forever
I'll stay'
but than I remember you might
still have the mind of a teen
and if I say anything, it's worse
than lighting a match when soaked
in gasoline
These moments will forever burn in my mind
How close I became to you and how you were kind.
People will never understand the way I think
Nor the way they see my emotions sink.
I drown in my feelings and expect to float,
I take the dagger, called love, and slit my throat.
Extreme feelings? Yes. I know
But through the currents of life I'll flow.
When you hold me
it's a feeling of love
A hug from you
is all I can think of
A kiss on the cheek to the holding of your hand
A day without you is one thing I can't stand.
I loved you so much, and I still do.
I'm still hoping to hear 'I love you too'.
