It all began here.

"For the next three months you will be filming a documentary on a person. It could be on anyone as long as I have your documentaries turned in by the end of the three months." Professor Hayes says. After our assignments are assigned the bell rings, signaling the class is over. I pack my things up and head towards my truck. Who can I document for film class?
I could do it on my alcoholic uncle.
Yeah, never mind. Uncle Benny is too emotional to film a documentary on. I don't think I should do it on my family. I can't do it on Ashton either. He is in Washington because of his college.
I start my engine and make my way to a cafe near my apartment that I visit very often. I order my drink and wait for the employees to serve the Pumpkin spice latte. "Have a nice day." The cashier says with a smile. "Thanks, you too!" I say kindly. I start walking to my usual spot when I feel something steaming hot roll down my shirt.
"I'm sorry! Let me help you." A thick Australian accent says. I look up to see a Blonde, blue eyed, boy with a lip piercing. He quickly turns around and grabs a napkin. He starts to dab my shirt and then stops due to staining the shirt even more. "I'm so sorry about your shirt. How much was it?" The Australian asks.
"Don't be sorry, it was old anyways."
"Oh. Well, the names Luke, Luke Hemmings." Luke introduces himself. "Well Luke, I go by the name of Delia Rosella." I say while putting my hand out. Luke shakes it and smiles. "Well Delia, let me buy you a new drink." Luke says while making his way to the cashier. I follow Luke."What would you like?"
"A pumpkin spice latte, please." I say politely. Luke orders me a new drink and we go sit down at my usual spot. "So are you from around here?" Luke asks. "No. I originally grew up in California. I'm only in Massachusetts because I want to major in film." I say. "Film sounds amazing. I wish I could major in something I wanted to." Luke sighs.
"How come you can't major in what you want to major in?"
"My parents are pushy. They want me to major in Business instead of music. So that's how I got from Australia to Massachusetts." Luke explains. "So your a musician kind of guy? You didn't seem like one from your appearance." I say. "That's why the saying 'never judge a book by its cover' is a good saying." Luke says. "Sorry, it's probably the height. Your really tall." I say. "That or your really short." Luke smirks.
"I am not! I'm 5'8!"
"Sure." Luke drags out the word. I roll my eyes. "So what university are you going to?" I ask. "I'm going to University of Massachusetts Dartmouth." Luke says. Wait he attends the same college as I do?
How is it I don't see him?
"I attend the same University. How come I never see you on campus?" I ask. "You don't see me because I only attend one class. I don't see the point in going if it's not my thing." Luke states. "That seems like a pretty good reason." I say. He nods in agreement. I check the time.
Shit.
"I'm sorry, I have to get somewhere. I'll see you around, Luke." I say while getting up. "Here, that's my number. Give me a call when you wanna hang out." Luke gives me a piece of paper. I stuff it in my pocket and walk out to my truck. Now it's time to hangout with Calum and Micheal.
I open the door to their house.
I enter the kitchen. I see two empty eaten pizza boxes. They better have saved me some. I walk out of the kitchen and make a left. I follow the end of the hallway and start going down the steps to the basement.
I still see it as a basement while those two see it as a 'Man Cave'. There is nothing manly in that basement, including the two idiots who munch on pizza all day. "Suck it!" Micheal yells. "We are going again after I get water." Calum pouts. I pass Calum and take a seat next to Micheal.
"Win again?"
"Mhm."
"Calum pouting?"
"Mhm."
I roll my eyes. "Wanna play?" Micheal asks. "I'm up for FIFA any day but today is not that day. I'm so stressed out." I say. "Why are you stressed?" Micheal asks. "Today Professor Hayes assigned us a documentary. The documentary has to be interesting and it has to be about a person. I just don't know who to film it on." I stress.
"Do it on your uncle Benny."
"Calum you know how my uncle is." I say. "Well cross us off the list." Micheal says. "See I did think about you guys, but then I thought about how much editing I'm going to have to do to make it a good documentary." I say. "Yeah, good choice." Calum says. I get a text from a contact listed as Blondie.
From Blondie:
Hi! 😁
Sent to Blondie:
Luke?
From Blondie:
Yep.
"Who are you texting?" Calum asks. "I'm texting a guy named Luke. I met him at the cafe that I always go to." I say. "Damn. Just met the guy and you guys are already on the number to number basis." Micheal says. I roll my eyes. "Awh! Our little girl is grown up!" Calum gushes.
"I think I'm adopted. I don't have any trace of Asian or Australian in me." I say. Micheal laughs. Calum scoffs. "You had it coming, buddy." I say. My phone buzzes again.
From Blondie:
I'm bored. What are you doing?Sent to Blondie:
I'm chilling with some friends. Wanna join? From Blondie:
Sure. I need the address.I text Luke the address after asking the boys if he could hang out with us. I take a piece of pizza out of the half eaten box. "I swear you guys live off of pizza." I say before taking a bite. "It's good." Micheal defends. I nod my head in agreement.
The door bell rings.
Micheal gets up and runs to get the door. I sneak up the stairs and eavesdrop on the conversation. "Hi! I'm Luke." Luke introduces himself. "I'm Micheal. One question for you. Do you play FIFA?" Micheal asks. Of course he would ask that.
"I play all the time."
"You may enter." Micheal says. I sneak back down stairs. "What was that about?" Calum asks. "The last time Micheal met someone new he didn't let Ashton in because he didn't play FIFA." I say. "Oh yeah, I remember that. Good times, good times." Calum says.
I hear footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Hey Luke." I say. "Hey." Luke says while taking a seat on the couch. "Hi, Luke. The names Calum." Calum introduces himself. "Nice to meet you Calum." Luke says. "FIFA, anyone?" Micheal asks.
We all pick up our controllers and start a game.
