Rain drops, rain fall
Tick tock, times up
Tears fall, hearts drop
Tick tock, times up
My heart crumbles to pieces
My trust leaps out the window
It follows you and never stops
Whichever way the wind blow
However long the clock ticks
And anywhere the ball hits
Whoever that my heart picks
That's just how the ball roll
My tears blend in with the raindrops
Steps washed away on the sidewalk
And you forget who your heart saw
Because your mind is now a jigsaw
Puzzle pieces scattered
Thinking 'Nothing ever mattered'
When all I ever wanted
Was the top step of the ladder
But the rain, it pitter pattered
When I fell, my feelings splattered
Like a paint can busted
Because it was you I trusted
But when the rain falls
My heart drops
Because tears fall
Like the Rain Drops
