Who is he, who judges me?

Who is he, who sits on his heavenly throne

to judge those who bare its lofty weight of stone.

Who is he, who has never experienced love or loss

to frown on those who bare black hearts of frost.

Who is he, who shackles his worship onto us

to condemn those of vanity and lust.

I would not presume to judge a mans soul

so who is he to presume to judge mine

let alone mankind’s.
