By Thursday, two days since I had last seen Lilly, I was already missing her desperately, but that lunch, Angie walked past me when I was sitting in the library and dropped a note in my lap. I opened it to see Lilly's neat runes.

Evie,

Tomorrow, 7pm, next to the Stone Circle

Lilly xxx

I felt breathless. It was stupid to keep doing this, I knew that. Lilly and I should just keep our distance so neither of us would get discovered or hurt, but at the same time this forbidden romance cliché felt almost adventurous. Regardless, I'd got myself into this, I may as well see her.

The next day I walked out towards where we were meeting, only to be met by Professor McGonagall on my way there.

"Miss Allen!" she said with a mixture of surprise and confusion. "Where are you going, it's nearly dark?"

"I was..." I decided to not tell her the whole truth. "Just going for a walk...to clear my head" She however was not fooled.

"Miss Stebbins is already waiting for you" she replied curtly. She placed a hand on my arm and looked like she was going to say something else, but merely nodded and walked away.

I continued down to the Stone Circle at a slight run, turning the corner at the end of the bridge to see Lilly. We collided briefly in a kiss before she pulled me into the bushes around the stones. She kissed me again before we lay down on the dirt and stared at the stars, hand in hand.

"When you first saw me..." she started nervously. "What did you think of me? What did you first find attractive?" Her small round cheeks went pink.

"Well firstly how I made an absolute idiot of myself in front of a literal angel and second, how much of a literal angel you are. Then when we started actually talking I realised you were a really nice and cute human and how I really wanted to date you." She smiled then reached forward and pressed my nose which made me squeak involuntarily. Lilly giggled then turned and pressed her lips to mine.

"What about you?" I asked. I could feel her warm breath on my cheeks.

"When we first met, I was sort of in my own world, then I realise I've knocked over this short derpy ginger-"

"AUBURN!" I interrupted

"Ginger kid. Then you were just staring at me and you looked really derpy but adorable at the same time. I told myself I wasn't going to let you get inside my heart like the last girl, but you did and I don't regret it." I beamed, reaching forward to put my arm round her. Lilly was one of the best decisions I had made.

"Wait..." I said, as I fully realised what she'd said. "Who was the last girl?"

"Oh, no-one" she replied, but I could tell by her face, even in the half-light that this girl was not just no-one.

"Who?" I asked again and her face went pinker and pinker. She clenched her fists and whispered

"Lisa"
