Chapter 6: Warm Bodies

Fionnas Pov:

I woke up in the candy castles hospital, that I didn't know about honestly, and I've known gumball since forever. This place is full of surprises. I look to my left to see Cake fluffing her tail down and Marshall on my right holding my hand. I feel a sharp pain in my leg, it aches, but it starts to fade as I talk with Marshall,

"How many was there? How many booties did I kick?" I say punching the air playfully,

"Hahah calm down bunny," he laughs out, "there was too many to count, and Fi, you didn't get a single one, you were just swinging into the air, sorry," he sheepishly laughs out.

"Oh glob I was sure I atleast got one," i say with a pout and cross my arms in thought,

"Hm maybe you did get just one," Marshall says as he lifts my chin and looks at me with a big grin. I loved that smile.

"Yay!" I throw my hands up into the air. Knowing he just said that because he thought it'd make me feel better, and it did.

— a few days later —

"Come on marsh let's go to another cave!" I say jumping,

"No Fionna, no way, how about we go to my cave and watch some movies?" He says,

"I guess that's cool enough" I sigh and jump on his back, "let's go!" I shout as he flies into the air.

Marshalls pov :

We land at my cave and walk in, all day today we played BMA and drew funny pictures, I even let her do my makeup, i have no idea where she got makeup from. But it was a fun day, and Cake won't be home until tomorrow night so I assume Fi will just stay here.

"What movie do you wanna watch Marshy?" She asks in a giggly voice,

"You pick bunny," I say,

"How about we watch a scary movie?" She says with wide eyes,

"Whatever you want," I say as I pick her up swiftly.

We end up watching warm bodies, it's a chick flick, she fell asleep after about an hour. I carry her upstairs into my room, and lay her in my bed. I undress to my boxers and lay next to her, I wrap my arms around her waist and kiss her goodnight. I feel as if I'm the luckiest guy in the world to be here right now, with her in my arms sleeping peacefully. I want this forever. I never want my days with her to end.

I can't seem to sleep, I think a lot. What if we do get married, and I have to watch her die after 70 years, I don't want that, I want her forever and ever. She's too amazing of a person to go. She deserves to live forever, to save all life's. I love this girl so much. I wonder if she considers us dating, I'll ask her out. I'll make it so so special, a day she'll never forget. I get up and head downstairs

It's 3 am and I'm putting out details to ask her out in the most perfect way. I call her favorite restraunt, I'm surprised they're even open, I ask if I could perform a song there tomorrow night, or well tonight, and they said it's fine after I explained me and her. They loved the idea. I better get to bed, I have a long day.
