The New Hope "On Hold For Now

Chapter One: The Encounter

It was the middle of spring as the sun was setting to be replaced by the moon, with the bright light of sun going away, instead with the light of the moon.
I was walking home from school, when the sound of an ominous voice stopped me in my tracks.
"It can't be it , I can't die here, it can't be now!"
I began to feel something that I never thought I would never experience, the feeling of fear.
Shaking right their for the first time I began to speak.
"Who's there, show your yourself." In the sense of fear I stood frozen solid as ice.
"I couldn't fulfill that promise master I'm sorry, I guess this is the en.."
The voice was getting weaker and weaker before I knew it, I started running to the found of the voice into a dark alley.
The owner of the voice was now disintegrating from existence. I new for a fact I would never get that image out of my head unless I did something.
I started running to the little thing crying until my eyes hurt and dried.
"Stay with me little thing." I was crying and hurting for to see something in this situation.
As I was crying the thing looked at me with a painful depressing smile.
"Looks like someone came to help me, thanks...."
It closed it eyes and began to disappear even more.
"You want to help it." An ominous voice was speaking as I was crying but if wasn't from the little but a voice that was no where seen.
"Yes I want to help it." With a little confusion to where that voice was coming from.
I looked up to notice what seemed to look like a portal with a gadget in it.
"You are a very considerate girl are you sure about your cho..."
"I don't care what happens to me, I would sacrifice my life for others than my own?" I shouted a someone that wasn't even there.
"Very well, grab the gadget and you will be able to save it."
I do what the voice says, I grabbed the gadget but when I did I passed out.
