A N T-Flashback
Of course I felt for aruptly leaving Isaac like that, especially lying to him. But I can't let him know what I was doing, it'd ruin the surprise.
Walking into the jeweler shop, I immediately felt out of place, all the straight couples or toned men picking out some over sized diamond-ontop rigs for their (presumably) girlfriends. Yea, I don't belong here. Buying an engagement ring for my boyfriend.
Well then.
A staff member spots me, motioning me over to the counter. "How can I help you sir?" The young blonde woman asks in a peppy tone.
"Um, I'm looking to buy an engagement ring." I state nervously.
"Oh, what a lucky girl she must be!" She exclaims, great I was just waiting for that.
"I'm gay." I say bluntly, taking her by surprise.
"O-oh, well yea um... Our selection is over here." She stumbles, now wanting to switch the topic.
I glance at the array of beautiful rings, but of course most of them are a bit too feminine for Isaac's taste, nothings wrong woth them of course, but Isaac isn't the type to wear a giant diamond on his finger.
My eye catches sight of a gold ring that is twisted and has three small diamonds engraved in the middle. A smile forms on my face as I look up at the woman.
"How much is this one?"
