"Please stop staring at me" I said with my face still in my phone
"I wasn't staring, just looking at you , trying to figure out why you actin' like you 'ont want me" he smirked as I looked at him briefly
"Cause I don't" I said locking my phone and getting ready to get out of the car
"Alright Eady" he smiled " You wont be able to resist me much longer"
"And that is why I wont ever want you, get off your high horse bruh. And don't call me Eady. My name is Egypt" I said calmly
"So, Kenya and El can call you Eady but I can't?"
"My friends call me Eady." I said matter-of-factly
"We aint friends?" he chuckled
"Or naw? " I laughed " Just pull right there, I'll walk the rest of the way"
"It ain't like Imma stalk you Eady" he said stopping the car and putting it in park
"I don't know that, you hang out with Gino, and that man is a stalker." I said grabbing my shoes off the floor "Thanks for the ride" I said getting out
He got out too, and started to follow me
"I thought you weren't a stalker" I smirked turning to look at him
"Im not, Im just being a gentleman by making sure you make it inside safely Eady"
"Please stop, My name is Egypt" I said starting to walk again.
He held his hands up in surrender, and continued to follow me.
"Im a big girl Jace, I can walk by myself"
"No, your a little girl" he said gesturing with his hands making fun of my 5'4 height.
I don't think Im short, but compared to his 6'1" height, I guess I am.
"But my fist ain't little" I said rolling my neck
"Stop that" he said seriously
"What?" I said doing it again
"Rolling ya neck, that shit don't complement you at all, and all that rolling yo eyes . Stop that"
I was taken back by his demanding tone
"Who are you talking to? You aint my daddy lil boy, therefore you can't tell me what to do. Now I said thanks for the ride already. What do you want from me? Huh? "
He shrugged and continued walking toward my building
"I don't know yet" he yelled back at me

I shook it off and followed suit and soon I was at the door
"Thank you Jace" I said irritated
"You said that already"
"You like annoying me?" I asked cocking my head to the side
"It is kinda fun" he laughed, I tried not to smile. But I couldn't help it
"Oh shit, she smiles" he said becoming more serious but keeping a smile on his face "Damn" he sighed
"What?" I asked my smile never leaving
"Nothing" he said and started to walk away , but I grabbed his arm
I hate when people do shit like that, start to say something but don't finish.

"So that's it? You aint kiss her or nothing?" Gino asked me once I walked into our apartmen
"Yeah man, that's it. " I laughed at him acting like a lil girl
"Man, that bitch crazy, 'member she maced me?" he asked shaking his head
"She aint a bitch. Yeah I remember when she maced you, but wasn't you popping up every where she was? I would've maced yo ass too" I said walking to my room and shutting the door

I can't lie and say I ain't noticed her before. I peeped her at the End of the year bash last semester. But I think she had a nigga at the time, or at least she was acting like she did
My thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing
"Yo?" I answered
"Im sure that's not how I raised you to answer the phone" she said seriously
"My bad Momma" I chuckled at my grandmother
She been raising me since 10 years, due to the fact that my pops died overseas when I was 7 ,moms died 3 years later in a car pile up. So my mom's mom took me and my big sister Journie, she was 15 and I was 10 when we moved in with Momma.
"That's okay baby, how you doing? I thought I said to call me after you took that test this morning? You aint too busy with them girls to be forgetting me now are you?"
"No Ma, your the only girl for me. Im good now that I took the test, and my bad, I just forgot. This is my first time even looking at my phone all day. Im sorry"
"Thats okay, you talked to your sister? You know Karsyn's birthday is coming up and she wants her favorite uncle there"
"Im her only uncle Ma" I laughed "You know I wouldn't miss it, but naw I haven't talked to J, she need me for something?"
"No, just wants to talk to her baby brother, that's all. Now back to these girls, you think I dont know you Jace Noah Bentley?" I could tell she was smiling
"Nah ma, aint nobody caught me yet. " I laughed
"Okay now, keep our Johnson in your jeans little boy. But what do you mean yet? You looking at somebody?" she asked eagerly
"I mean, I know a girl who could possibly catch me. Like she's my type, I just don't think Im her type"
"Oh she choosin' on my baby?"
"You need to stop trying talk like Journie" I laughed " She aint choosing tho, I don't know. She got a annoying attitude tho" I laughed thinking about tonight's events
"She just need a lil Jace to starighten that attitude on out" she joked with me "whats her name?"

"Yeah, she's different, but let me get off this phone and shower, I got practice in the morning, you still coming to my game tomorrow night?"
"You know I wouldn't miss it, and Im bringing the girls" she said referring to Journie and my 1 year old niecec Karsyn

I hung up with her and stripped from my party clothes and went to take a shower, when I finished I threw on some sweats and headed over to Elgin's which was just a couple floors below me.

"My girl get home safe?"
I nodded
"But aye, I need you to help me" I said plopping down on the couch
"What now Bentley?" she sighed sitting on the couch across from me
"I need you to help me get your girl, to be my girl"
