"Good win tonight Bentley!" I kept hearing repeatedly as I made my way out of the stadium
I fixed my bag on my shoulder as I looked over at the gate and spotted Momma, Jay, and Kar.
"Good job out there Jacey!!" Journie shreiked jumping on me to hug me
"Thanks" I grunted taking a sleepy Karsyn outta Momma's arms
"Baby Kay, you sleep?" I asked her and she shook her head no
I couldn't help but wonder where Egypt had disappeared to, I was hoping she would still be with them, so I could give her book back of course, and to talk about what I needed to talk about earlier
"If your looking for her, we don't know. After half time she just disappeared. What'd you do?" Momma asked as she eyed me carefully
"I didn't do anything..I just kissed her , that's all. " I shrugged
"Don't chase her away Jace, I love her aura, she seems like such a good girl, and i would hate for you to fuck with her" Momma said seriously.
I knew she was serious, cause she never curses
"Alright" I said rubbing Karsyn's back
"Y'all bout to head out?" I asked walking them to Momma's benz
"Yeah, and I know tomorrow is saturday and you wanna chill out cause it's homecoming, but I need you to watch Karsyn. Momma gotta work and so do me and Kortez." Journie said
"You know I don't mind kickin' it with my baby" I said strapping her in the seat " What time you gone drop her?"
"About 8, so be up when I call" Journie said hugging me before getting into the passenger seat
"Alright baby, now remember what I said" Momma said kissing my cheek " I love you"
"I love yall too" I said looking over her head back at the gate where I noticed her. Standing on the gate
"Go get her" Momma smiled pulling away from my embrace and looking to what caught my attention
I made sure they were in the car safely and walked over to her, taking my hoodie off in the process, when I approached her I held it out to her
"No Im good, thanks" she said lightly smiling rubbing her arms
"Seriously, take it" I said placing it around her small frame
"Thanks" she muttered
"Look about earlier..."

"You don't have to explain, it's alright. Just caught in the moment" I shrugged , trying to forget the feeling that his lips gave me just a hour ago
After half time, I had to leave, I just had to. I went for a walk around campus trying to gather my thoughts.
"Right...caught in the moment" he said sighing " Here's your book, thanks for staying"
"Thanks for making me come, these past couple nights have been the most fun I've had in a while in a odd way" I laughed taking my Anatomy book from his hands
"I know right" he chuckled
"Um, good game tho" I said trying to make now, less awkward than it already was
"Thank you" he said kind of smuggly
"What's wrong?" I asked stepping closer to him slightly
He looked down at me , with those light brown eyes, which looked a little darker right now. I felt as if I was digging myself into a deeper hole at the moment, cause I couldn't tear my eyes away from his , and before I knew it, his lips were on mine again
