My tail comes closer to me, the cold air coming into the den. I shiver a bit, then I open my eyes. I see everyone asleep, but Laurvine, Danstone, Garclaw, and Aarpelt. I yawn and set up. The wind moves my (p/l) a bit. I walk out of the den, seeing the fresh kill pile was low. Just like Irene Clan said, death is here. Maybe it won't be if I do something. "(W/n)." I hear Garclaw's voice and I turn to look at him. I see him with Danstone and Laurvine. They all smile at me. "Want to go on a hunting patrol?" Garclaw meows. I smile and nod. I walk over, the frozen ground making sounds as I did so. I walk over to him and flick my tail. All four of us walk out of the camp, Garclaw and me in the front. I look around, my ears flickering a bit.
'You taught me the courage of stars before you left. How light carries on endlessly, even after death.' Zanstar's voice rang in my voice. 'With shortness of breath, you explained the infinite. How rare and beautiful it is to even exist.' I look around at the wildlife. 'I couldn't help but ask for you to say it all again. I'd give anything to hear you say it one more time, that the universe was made just to be seen by my eyes.' My ears go flat and my tail drags on the ground. 'With shortness of breath, I'll explain the infinite how rare and beautiful it truly is that we exist.' His voice stopped and I see a mouse. I run at it and skillfully kill it. I dig a hole under a tree and hide the mouse there. I walk back to the patrol and we start walking again.

I walk back in and see everyone up, three kids stand out the most. They looked happy, running around their mother. The mother smiled and I smiled with the fresh kill in my mouth. All four of us place the fresh kill in the pile and hear Aphstar, "All cats old enough to eat fresh kill, join as a clan under the high rock!" She called out. We all look at each other, Garclaw looked like he knew what was going on. All of the other clan members walk over to the high rock. We all follow, Garclaw going on the high rock with Aphstar. The three kids run over to the base of the rock. Oh, they much be getting their apprentice names. The first kit walks up, light brown tom with brown eyes. He seemed clam with this. His mother smiled and I see this tom smile also. "Rowenkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this say on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Rowenpaw. Your mentor will be Aarpelt. I hope Aarpelt will pass down all he knows on to you." Aphstar spoke. Aarpelt held his head up, he wasn't shocked at all. Aarpelt walks up the high rock and sits next to the new apprentice. "Aarpelt, you are ready yo take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Falconstar, and you have shown yourself to be brave and fearless. You will be the mentor of Rowenpaw, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Rowenpaw." Aphstar spoke again. Aarpelt turns to his apprentice and touches noses with him.
"Rowenpaw! Rowenpaw! Rowenpaw!" The clan calls out and I smile at the long haired tom. Both, Aarpelt and Rowenpaw, hop down from the high rock and go back to their places. The next kit hops up onto the high rock, brown she-cat with blueish green eyes. She was really small and looked like she was already done with this.
"Faithkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive you warrior name, you will be known as Faithpaw. Your mentor will be Kateberry. I hope Kateberry will pass down all she knows on to you." Aphstar said, smile on her face. Kateberry looks up and nods, she gets up. She walks over to the high rock and hops up. She sits next to her new apprentice. "Kateberry, you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Malstar, and you have shown yourself to be strong and brave. You will be the mentor of Faithpaw, and I expect you to pas on all you know to Faithpaw." Aphstar finished, Kateberry touches noses with Faithpaw.
"Faithpaw! Faithpaw! Faithpaw!" The clan yelled. They both get down and go to back to their old spots. Garclaw locks eyes with me from the high rock. The last kit goes up to the high rock, black she-cat with white tipped tail, neon blue eyes. She looks nothing like her mother or siblings. She looked like she cared very much about this.
"Neonkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Neonpaw. Your mentor will be (W/n). I hope (W/n) will pass down all she knows on to you." Aphstar smiled at me, so did Garclaw. That came as a shock to me. Why me of all your warriors? I shake my head and get up. All eyes were on me, I walk over to the high rock. I jump up the high rock, next to Neonpaw. I gulp a bit. "(W/n), you are ready to take on an apprentice. You had received excellent training from Garflock, and you have shown yourself to be smart and brave. You will be the mentor of Neonpaw, and I expect you yo pass on all you know to Neonpaw." Aphstar told me. I nodded, unsure about this. I touch noses with Neonpaw.
"Neonpaw! Neonpaw! Neonpaw!" The clan called out. After that, we both hop down, clan meeting over. Great, another thing I have to do now. I guess it won't be that bad....
