Chapter 3//

(Edward's P.O.V)

It's been a month since it's happened, she still hasn't woken up and I haven't been to school or eaten. I can't eat anything if she doesn't eat. It's been a long month and I have hope everyday that she will wake up and I am always disappointed when I wake up.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and I knew it was her dad he always comes in the morning to make sure I was alright and if she has woken up then he goes to work. I turned my head not letting go of her hand to see he was wearing jeans and white t-shirt.

"Hey Luke." I mumbled then turned back around looking at her pale but still beautiful face.

"Hey Edward, want to go get something to eat cause I know you haven't eaten." He said patting my back.

"I don't know if she wakes up and I'm not here I would never forgive myself." I said laying my cheek on her freezing cold hand.

"I've already talk to them she's not waking up..not today." He said whispering the last part for only me to hear it.

"Okay I think I'm gonna call Arden and Ally to see if they want to come and visit her." I said getting up letting him sit in the chair I just sat in.

"Okay and um Edward, Gemma called me she wants you to call her." Luke said grasping her pale hand in his tan one.

"Um Luke what is today?" I asked since my phone was dead.

"It's Sunday 8 o'clock at night." He said pulling out his phone.

"Okay thanks do you want anything from the cafeteria?" I asked cause I was starving.

"Yeah haven't ate all day."

"Okay, then I think they said there was a McDonald's across the street. Do you want that?" I asked as my eyes watered again.

"Anything is fine." He muttered looking at his daughter with sad eyes almost crying but keeping his composure in front of me.

"Okay." I mumbled then went out drying my tears.

I crossed the street and dialed Arden's number off of Gray's phone.

"Oh my god! Grace your awake!" Arden screeched through the phone.

"No sorry to disappoint you this is Edward I was just wondering if you and Ally wanted to come and see Gray she would probably want you to come see her." I said opening the door for a lady
with tiny little girl attached to her hip smiling up at me.

"Oh I well I don't know I really don't want to see her like that I'm sorry I know I sound like a pathetic excuse for a friend but.."

"No no it's okay I understand I wouldn't want to see my bestfriend in the condition that Gray's in its okay." I said getting in line behind the blonde haired lady and her little girl.

"Okay well I might see her when she's awake I'm pretty sure you and Luke are an emotional wreck so I wouldn't think that Gracey would want three emotional wrecks in her room." She giggled making me chuckle a little through the tears I had.

"Thanks Arden you always know how to make me laugh when I'm 'An emotional wreck'." I chuckled making Arden and the lady in front of me chuckle.

"Yep anyways I'm really sorry what your having to go through I just can't imagine." She said almost crying.

"Yeah we'll I'm going to get off the phone before I break down crying in the middle of McDonald's." I said wiping a few tears away.

"Okay I will talk to you later."

"M'kay bye Arden."

"Bye Ed."

I shoved my phone in my pocket and saw the little girl looking up at me. She had blue little eyes and she was smiling at me. I smiled back and made her start giggling. I pulled a bunch of silly faces and she burst out giggling. Her mum looked at her like she was crazy and she pointed to me and I looked up at the menu like nothing ever happened.
