Hello, Just letting you know this is a very short story for Halloween. Even though Halloween ended I wanted to still do this.Oh and Alana is my sister in real life. Her friend that starts with a B is her sister and mine but decided to make her Alana's friend. Now the other friend that starts with a Y, is her friend. By the way they are older in real life but right now they are around the age of 12. Well hope you enjoy~
As Alana and her friends were walking up to s house to trick or treat, something caught her eye. "Hey guys, look over there. At that street." Alana told them. Her two friends Yuzury and Bryanna looked to where she was pointing. "That's one creepy street." Bryanna said uneasy. "Let's go to this house, then go down that street." Yuzury said
"Are you sure? We could just go down a different street." Alana asked. "Oh, don't be a chicken." Bryanna said. "Bawk, bawk bawk, BAWK!" Yuzury mimated a chicken. "Fine." Alana groaned. After they went to that house, they started down to the lonely street. There were only a few street lights but they were dim and flickering. "T-this street is scaring like a horror movie." Alana stuttered.
"More like a real life horror movie." Yuzury said. There was a very big stone fence going along a very long stretch of land, that was uneven and hilly. There were dead trees on the other side of the fence. The stone fence looked rusty and old. They were still walking when it looked like rain might come. "Hey guys, look there's a sidewalk. That must mean there's a house." Bryanna said. They walked toward the sidewalk
Alana's pov. As we walked closer I saw a sign but it was too hard to read in the dark. Then I saw a gate. A very rusty, old gate that looks like it was there for thousands of years. We stopped at the beginning of the sidewalk. I saw a shadow of a house on top of a pretty big hill. "Oh my gosh, I know this place! Jordan, the boy in my class told me a story on how a haunted house that was not really haunted was on a hill with lots of land." Yuzury started
"A couple lived there. A husband and a wife. A child was born there too. They all lived there. They didn't liked to be bothered so they put up a 'No Trespassing' sign, they also made their house and property creepy so no one would go there. But the day the wife was having her baby, she died. Luckily the child didn't. The father kept his song locked away in his house. But the father got sick and passed away. I heard that the father is now haunting that house, to keep his song safe and other people safe from something. The child should be about our age now." Yuzury told us.
"That poor child. Losing his mother and father." Bryanna said. I didn't know what to say, I was speechless. "Alana," Yuzury said. "Yes?" "I dare you to go into that house, knock on the door and if no one answers you go in. I want you to see what's really going on." Yuzury finished. "B-but why me?" I complained. "Because!" She said. "Go, it's a dare. You have to do it." Bryanna told me. "Fine." I said. They gave me flashlight 'somehow' and I headed toward the gate. I kinda ran so I can get this dare over with.
I saw the no trespassing sign and got scared. The story might be true. I thought. I headed to the rusty gate. For some odd reason, it had a nice new clean lock on it. Strange....... As soon as I went up to it, the lock unlocked and fell. I felt my heart jump when the gate opened by itself. It made a creaking sound as if it hadn't been open for thousands of years.
Then a wolf howled and dark gray clouds covered the sky and the bright moon. I jogged further in on a sort of dirt path. I stopped and looked at a dead tree. Then out of nowhere a whole bunch of bats flew right for me! One hit me in the face and two bat's feet caught in my hair a bit. I jogged further. I went up to a stump which was oddly shaped. Then it started moving. The very top moved around. It was just an owl. The owl opened it's eyes and stared at me. "Hoot hoot, hoot hoot." The hooted at me. It kinda sounded like a warning. "Nah, probably just nothing." I told myself.
So that's it so far. I might write more tomorrow, i don't know. So I hope you like it.
Goodbye!
