Life and Death.
Ying and Yang.
Both exists together. You can not have one without the other.
In order for there to be life, there must be death.
In order for there to be death, there must be life.
The beginning of life is the end of another.
The end of life is the beginning of another.
It is a simple yet confusing concept. A concept best explained.
There are two worlds that live together in harmony. These two worlds make the never ending cycle flow smoothly. The Upperworld is commonly know as The World of the Living.
The Underworld is commonly know as The World of the Dead.
Both coexist together, working like clogs in a machine.
The Upperworld keeps the Underworld's population steady, as does the Underworld to the Upperworld.
You are born into the Upperworld, living your life until it is time to 'die'. You are then 'born' into the Underworld, living your life until it is time to die.
Then the cycle repeats itself, like clockwork.
A never ending cycle.
A cycle that can be interrupted.
Whenever one 'dies', all those horrid feelings you know as 'sin' are warped together. They are twisted and pulled at. They are moulded into one and then shattered apart. An entity that can only be know as true Sin.
These horrid creatures have only one purpose.
To corrupt and reck havoc across what we all see as beautiful. They aim to taunt at the Living, coaxing them closer and closer to 'death.' To tip the balance, to shatter the harmony between theses two worlds.
These entities corrupt all that come near. They pull at ones heart and soul, tainting it. They break one down and turn it into them, converting a once beautiful being into a blackened Sin.
Yet, there is only one type that can not be tainted and corrupted.
A pure hearted soul.
A person who's heart is that of purity and innocence.
An Angel is one name for them. A Knight is what they are called in the Underworld.
Personality does not effect them. 'Sins' do not effect them.
They stay strong, standing tall and proud no matter the situation.
These Knight are able to travel between worlds, protecting the Living from Sin. They fight to protect. They fight to keep balance and harmony.
They are the Guardians of the worlds.
