The reader's downfall

(This is a second person POV story. You are being known as __________ in this story)

You were taking a walk down a lonely road all by yourself. You've just made the biggest mistake of your life by thinking that your crush would be 'the one.' But it turns out...it wasn't meant to be. "It certainly can't get any worse than what it is now," you sighed. Just then, thunder clapped, and rain started pouring down. You then fell on your knees and hid your face in your hands. "What is my life?!" You ask. "I'm gonna go kill myself!" You ran and ran until you found a cliff. You stand over the edge and looked down. "No one loves me. No one will ever love me." You then fall down the cliff. As you fall, you think to yourself, "I hate my life. I rather die than continue on through a life full of misery." Just then, you landed, but not on the ground. You open your eyes and looked around. You then saw a black figure carrying you. It was a black hedgehog. The black hedgehog stopped and looked at you. "You okay?" It asked. His voice sounded deep and almost raspy. "Y-y-yeah," you said, feeling a little scared. "Damn. You took that fall pretty hard. What were you doing up there?" He asked, putting you down. "I...I wanted to kill myself," you say. "What?! That's the stupidest thing anybody would do! Why would you do that?" You slowly started to tear up by how harsh he was. "Look...it's just...you wouldn't understand," you say. "Whatever. You want me to take you home, or would you rather fall down that cliff and see if that does anything better for you?" He asks. Even though you wanted to kill yourself, you didn't want to do that again after that mysterious hedgehog saved your life. "Okay," you sighed, sadly. "You can take me home." He then carried you, and skated off quickly. "Woah!" You yelled, wrapping his arms around his neck. "You're going too fast!" "Yeah. I know," he said. He slowed down a little. You looked up at him as he was skating. "Um...who are you?" You ask  nervously. "I'm Shadow. Shadow the Hedgehog," He said. "And you are?" He asked. "I...I'm __________," you said, shyly. Shadow smirked by the name. "Cute name," he said. You blushed lightly, but you tried to hide it. A few minutes later, Shadow took you home. "This is it," you say. He then put you down. As he was about to leave, you say, "Wait! Uh...." He turned back to you. "Yes?" He asks. "Th-thanks for taking me home...Shadow," you say. "No problem, __________," Shadow said. As he turned around, he smirked a bit, and skated off. As the rain stopped pouring, you walked back inside and ask yourself, "What just happened?"
