The next day at school James didn't talk to me at all. It seemed like he lost his energy to think because he didn't talk or raise his hand in class. I know what I did was mean but I just met the guy.
When the last bell rang I was so happy. Today Lisa was coming! Lisa is my best friend and she just came from Arizona too. I told her the whole deal with James. She told me if I asked him on a date he would go back to normal. WHAT? I don't want to go on a date with him. She told me it was the best way to solve it.
So the next day during partnet work in science I asked him. "Hey do you want to go out sometime?" Then suddenly the room got quiet. THE WHOLE CLASS JUST HEARD WHAT I SAID. The class said "ooooooo" Some kids were shouting "Are you gonna answer her?" Even the teacher was interested. I was hoping he wouldn't answer me. And then he blurted. "I would love to."The whole class was celebrating. This was the weirdest science class I ever had.
