| Your POV |
"(Y/n. (Y/n) darling, it's time to get up" I heard my mom say to me as I looked around, confused at where I was. Ah yes. We're moving to Tokyo.. "Dearie, The planes going to land in a moment. Get your stuff together" She said smiling,
~~~~~
We grabbed our bags and left the airport. The rest of our stuff are coming in tomorrow and will be directly delivered to our new house.
I was actually a big happy about moving far away, and going to a new school. It was my classmates I don't mind being away from.
We made our way out and my mom waved a taxi down "Hey there" The man said as my mom and dad crammed into the back. I started panicking, How will I sit in there without touching anyone? I'm going to cry. Please please don't touch me.
My breathing hitched a little and my mom looked sadly and angrily t me, then at the taxi driver. "Excuse me sir, is there anyway our daughter could sit up front?" My mother asked politely, gritting her teeth a little. The man looked a little oddly then smiled "Sure of course." he said, replying to her. I let out a shakily relieved breath.
~~~~~
We made it to our house after about half an hour of driving. I was never so happy to see my house. On our way to our house I saw an old rundown park. Now that would be a great place to escape to.
I grabbed a bag of stuff, heading into the house after my parents. It was a small sized house with one bedroom, a small living area, nice sized kitchen, a nice attic and a dining room. I was surprised to find out the attic had a bathroom too. The house was a little too small for comfort.
I put my bag into the room I would be staying in, which was the attic, and grabbed my phone. I put my earbuds in and ran back down the stairs "I'm going out for a bit" I said to my mom, going out the door "Be safe!" She yelled back "I'm ordering dinner, so I'll let you know when it gets here!"
I nodded in response, even though she couldn't see me.
--
I made my way down the darkened road. It got darker as the sun set more
I got down to the old park, sitting on a rusty swing. It made an awful sound, but I wasn't planning on swinging.
I pulled my phone out, turning on quiet some music, watching the sun disappear behind the trees.
I heard a sound and turned around and saw a guy walking into the park, he had short blonde hair and glasses. He was listening to music; well, he at least had headphones on his ears. He didn't see me there as he tripped over a rock and almost fell on his face. pfft, he should look where he's going. I thought to myself, chuckling a little. Well I guess I was right, he's not listening to music.
He heard me and looked up at me, shoot. I turned around quickly getting up and walking off towards a big tree. Please don't say anything. "Who you laughing at?" The man said in an annoyed tone
"U-U-Uh.." I mumbled out, as he walked closer. My legs shook and I couldn't say anything
"Tch. So annoying" He said rolling his eyes as he was a few feet away from me. G-Go away. I shouted. Well that's what I tried to say, but nothing came out, just a shaky breath.
He was about a foot away from me when he finally stopped, towering over my short body. I couldn't even look up at his face. I felt my eyes getting watery and tried to run, but all that happened was I grunted a little. The blonde smirked and flicked me in the forehead "What's your problem?" He asked, groaning. I couldn't hold it back anymore, I felt as tears streamed down my face, he looked a little shocked then rolled his eyes
"Whatever" He put his hands into his pockets and walked away, annoyed. I dropped down to the ground gasping for air. I hadn't taken a breath the whole time he was there. The tears came down more, soaking my face and my sleeves as I covered my face. I kept my face covered and sobbed until I finally forced myself to stop. Standing up, I grabbed my phone and walked back to my house, slowly, enjoying the crisp cold against my skin.
I made it back to the house, my face didn't look as swollen from crying anymore. I went inside, starting to walk upstairs when I heard a knock on the door. My mother rushed to the door, opening it and grabbing the pizza from the man, striking up a friendly conversation.
After a few seconds, she had paid the man and he left. She walked to the kitchen and looked up the stares at me, she smiled but I could see pity in her eyes. God, she hates me for my stupid problems. I felt my eyes stinging a little, like I was about to cry.
"Come grab some food, (Y/n)" She said, grabbing the paper plates and setting them on the table, next to the drinks and pizza. I smiled as politely as I could and walked out there, grabbing some food and a drink, heading back to my room as my mother went into her room, talking to my father.
I got into my room, shutting the door and plopping on the mattress laying on the floor; since a lot of our stuff hadn't been delivered yet, I have to sleep here. I didn't mind it much though, It was comfy.
I took a bite of my pizza and set it down, about to turn my laptop on when I heard my mom call, "(Y/n)! Some here for a second!" I went to the door opening it "Yes?" I called down, listening. "The neighbors next door are coming over for a bit! I invited them to come for pizza." I sighed "I guess I'll be up here then" I said about to close the door "Okay, You two can eat up there then" I froze, You two? what does she mean.. I shut the door completely, walking back over to my bed, nibbling at my pizza
Not even five minutes later I heard a knock at my door "Come in" I said, still sitting on my laptop. The door opened and I looked at the stranger that stood in my doorway. I looked at him, my mouth wide open
"Shut your mouth or you'll catch flies in there" He said, looking annoyed
I quickly shut my mouth, looking back down at my computer, my fingers trembling.
It was that kid from the park. The fact that he was the kid from the park bothered me, he was rude! but that wasn't the only reason, I just don't like.. people.
Why did it have to be him?
Why does he have to be my neighbor?
Why do I even need to have a neighbor?
I just want to be in peace
"You deaf too?" I heard, getting jerked out of my thoughts, I looked at him with pained eyes. Trying to be polite "S-S-Sorry.. W-What?" I stuttered out, wiping away tears forming in my eyes.
"Where can I sit?" He asked, sounding bored. I jumped up, a little to quickly as I felt a rush of pain through my head, I blinked it away and grabbed a folded chair next to a small desk in the corner of the room, walking over and setting it up by the end of my bed, I quickly sat back down on my bed, trying not to throw up.
He was too close for comfort.. Through I felt this warm feeling in my stomach
Could I be getting used to being around him? I thought, trembling at the thought. but no. That was just the vomit. I covered my mouth frantically and ran to the backroom, shutting the door and throwing up into the toilet. There goes my dinner..
