Charolette's POV

Lily's been acting weird around me. I mean she's weird as usual but it's extreme. Okay for example Scott sat next to me in lunch today and she pushed me off my chair to sit next to him she's never done that to me. I mean everyone sees she likes him but damn going to extreme measures.

" hey Charlie are you okay" Avery said as I got up and sat next to her

" what's the matter with you?" Scott sneered at Lily as Lily looked sad and would glare at me

How ... how is it my fault ... I'm not going to say anything

" is your eye okay Lily" Avery said as Lily snapped her stare from me to look at Avery

" uh yea my eye is okay why?" Lily said

" because it's been twitching for a while" Avery said as she started laughing along with Victoria and I snickered a little as Lily glared at me and rolled her eyes

" so Scotty what are you doing today?" She said pressing herself close to him while he looked at her with disgust

" don't call me Scotty" he sneered as she flinched in fear

" hey you don't have to be so mean to her Scott. I don't think if you have noticed but you have no respect for treating women right and not like that." I said as I got up from the table and walked out the cafeteria as I felt her glare at the back of my head

Well excuse me darling if you have no respect for yourself and you are still my friend and I will protect you even if you can't.

" hey Charolette!" Avery said running after me and she kept breathing heavily. Ha I made her run she hates that.

" why is she glaring at you aren't we all friends." She said as I thought well you are not me I don't like Victoria

" I don't even know what her problem is!" I yelled out frustrated as Avery patted my back in the most awkward gentle way of calming me down

" hey Charolette!" I heard Scott come up to me along with lily behind him and Victoria behind her and he just smiled at me

It started with you and so it will end with you. Because of him she hates me.

" yes?" I said as he looked kinda nervous what the hell is wrong with him

" hey I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?" He said scratching the back of his head

" no Scott I'm sorry I just don't feel that way about you. I'm sorry" I said as I walk away with Avery laughing next to me

" you guys just met like yesterday and this  guy is already asking you out. I'm sorry I just can't understand how guys think we are that desperate for a relationship" Avery said between laughters

" Avery I don't think he meant it like that" I said as she continued laughing. I turned around for a spilt second and saw that he looked sad so I debated whether I should go back and said yes

" why did you stop?" Avery said as she stared at the same place as me

" I feel bad is that normal?" I said as Avery slowly nodded next thing we know Scott slams his fist at the lockers next to him that made Victoria and Lily jumped even Avery and I jumped

" some guys just can't take no for an answer" Avery whispered at me

Lily I guess tried to comfort him or tried to show him that everything was going to okay and so she put her hand on his shoulder kinda soothing it but he shoved her hand off him
