Heart over jumps.

Three Months On.

Riding teams had been formed 2 months ago, I was nominated captain for the cross country team, Trent was the jumping captain and Blake the dressage captain. Haley was the jumping second in command as she didn't want a captain position; Seth became captain of the reigning team. Though most of us where a member of other teams too. Our school schedule had become extremely full due to this but all of us managed to keep on top of it, often practise was held during lunch, free classes or after school. Sometimes we were allowed to miss a class as long as we were willing to do the work as homework.
Home life wasn't as hectic and pretty boring in comparison apart for Blake officially becoming a member of our house hold. Hunter was still seeing Briana and she had become very close to us all, in fact we classed her as one of us now. I was learning to cope with my jealousy because even though I was still seriously into Hunter I was glad that he wasn't just using Briana. Infact if Hunter was to hurt Briana I'd have to have a talk to him.
With the packed schedule of practice and lessons at school and practicing and trails at home our horses didn't get a whole lot of time to relax, we were giving them at least every Saturday off and had started taking Champ to school and taking it in turns of riding him for English disciplines. We had honour at home to practise on and take on trails on days Briana couldn't make it out.
But we still wanted more time for the horses to relax so we were looking into getting two horses on loan from Blake's parents to take to school like we did with Champ and ride around; we were looking at 10 different horses ranging in colours and breeds. We will be traveling to his house to ride the horses and make our choice after school but for now we were around the kitchen table talking excitedly over breakfast.
"I can't wait to see your place!" Haley exclaimed to Blake.
"This is my home now" Blake joked.
"Oh shut up, you know what I mean" Haley laughed.
"Well I can't wait to see our new horses" Trent said.
Hunter entered the room then smiling from ear to ear. "Morning".
"What's up with you?" I asked.
"You really want to know?" He asked.
Did I? I wasn't so sure now but I gave a nod and the others also gave signs of wanting to know.
"Well Briana is coming over today to spend a night" He informed.
"That's it?" Seth asked disappointed by the answer.
"Well we've been getting more intimate lately and we're ready to take our relationship to the next level so I was going to take her out to lunch and see where we go from there" He shrugged. Jealously bloomed inside of me.
"Bet you've been holding out for this" Trent noted.
"Kind of, I defiantly don't think sex is all there is to a relationship anymore but I will admit I miss it" Hunter answered.
I didn't want to hear any more so I changed the subject "So we're leaving straight from school right?" I asked Blake already knowing the answer. We wanted to start out as quickly as possible.
He nodded "My car and trailer are at school already. Hunter and Briana will get the horses from school and bring them back home".
