It has been a mouth time and many days since Lucy has not seen Natsu. Not a word, not a visit, not even a letter. Sometimes she wondered to herself if everything she lived in the Fire kingdom was real. If it was all just a wonderful dream.
But she knew everything was real. She knew the love she felt for Natsu was real. As well as the love Natsu felt for her. Being the princess of the water kingdom it wasn't easy to escape without her father finding out. Last time people help her, her family and Natsu.
She misses him. She misses him deeply and deep down she knows something is wrong. Even though she only knew Natsu for the small amount of time, the love she has towards him kept growing by the hours. She wishes she could spend eternity in his arms. But she has to wait. She has to wait for her prince to come and save her.
Her father still wants her to Mary a cold-hearted man. A man that will only bring sadness in her life Sting Effugen.
She cannot bring up the fact that she loves another. Much less the prince of the Fire Kingdom. That will bring up a war. To her, luck Sting has not come to her castle to visit her. Just her father, she sometimes spots Sting looking at her as to make sure she is here, in her castle. when sting comes she locks herself in her room and makes an excuse. If only Natsu was here with her.
"Sweety you have to come out of this room eventually," queen Layla said. "I will mother it's just that..." Lucy paused as if she was afraid to specks the next words, thinking they might actually be true. " does he not care for me ?" She said with a single tear in her chocolate brown eyes.
Her mother went to sit next to her on her bed. She hugged her deeply not wanting to let go of her daughter. "0h sweetheart, I'm sure he loves you...I saw the looks he gives you, trust me sweaty he loves you"
Lucy takes a deep breath. " Nastu is a prince Lucy. He must have responsibilities"
Lucy smiled " yes mother, I know he'll fight for us." He smiled at her and nodded as she exited the room. Deep down her mother was worried, not of Natsu but of her husband, the king.
The kingside of his husband is too obsessed with the past of the kingdoms and is influenced by the comments of the earth kingdom. She just wished that his king would come back to normal. He changed from that tragic day.
Even now she can't forget.
Lucy, along with Virgo, went to the castle's living room, where she found levy, Ezra and Mira talking. She smiled at them and went their way.

"Hi, Lucy, how you been" levy smiled. " the best I can" Lucy smiled as she sat next to levy.
Virgo went to make tea for them in the tea area in the living room. Virgo has been with Lucy since she can remember. She's her personal maid, although for Lucy she's her sister.
