Green,slimy,small and wet,
Frogs are animals unlike anything you've met.
They have pink tongues and hopping skills,
And they are as green as dollar bills.
They are tiny and cute,
But never seem to be mute.
Croaking near ponds day in and day out,
Each using nothing but a gaping mouth.
Though they are as miniscule as can be,
They seem to eat much more than me!
Though they don't eat a lot of meat,
Flies seem to be their favorite treat.
Unfortunately for most frogs and most fish,
We,human beings,tend to be very selfish.
Filling in ponds and cutting every tree,
It seems we can never let them be!
