Worries and Lessons

My eyes fluttered open to see the ceiling of Jeff's room, I could tell because of the holes. I looked over to see him holding me.

"Jeff...?" He woke up and nearly jumped at me presence.

"(Y/N)!" He hugged me. "Are you ok? I was so worried about you when you left and then when it started raining I couldnt even go back to my room..." He rambled on about how he missed me.

"Jeff Jeff I'm fine.. Thank you for worrying... I'm fine." I smiled.

"Good. Why were u out so long? Why didnt you come home when it started raining?"

"I'll tell you with the others... I think its a household thing to say." Jeff gave off a bit of jealousy but brushed it off.

"Ok..." He pulled me up and out the door. Everyone was sitting around and watching TV. "Yo guys we're holding story time." Jeff announced as we sat and got ready for everyone to get in a circle. After they did Jeff nudged me.

"Hey (Y/n) what happened yesterday?" Sally barged in before I could speak.

"Thats what she's explaining." Jeff looked over.

"Yeah um well.... You see I was walking in the woods and all of a sudden I saw this trail of black smoke/mist/dust and I followed it to this hole." Before I could go on Ben laughed.

"You investigated?!? How stupid do u have to be-" before he could finish LJ nudged his side to imply that he needs to shut up. "Ok ok I'm sorry continue."

"Ok well..... I found a buddle of it and went to touch it but something grabbed me. I tried to pull away but ended up pulling three people out."

"Jesus who would fuck a hole?" Ben chuckled.

"Seriously Ben..." Ej looked at him in annoyance.

"I had to to."

"Anyway... The girl had on a black dress, bunny ears, a stitched up smile and two mommy girls. She tried to kill me but my other side came out... She killed the two mommy girls and then the girl confessed. She said... She said she was Veronica." I could feel the tension between me, Ej, and LJ rise.

"V-veronica?!" Ej partially screamed.

"Hahah who's thats?!?!?" LJ nervously laughed.

"Ok so you three know her..." Jeff inquired.

"Me and Sally did too.." Jane added.

"Seriously... So me and Ben are the only ones who dont know her?!" Jeff sat up. Ben mimicked his actions.

"Why were we kept in the dark?!?" Ben somewhat raised his voice.

"It doesn't matter. I tried asking her who it was and all she said was Z..." I interrupted.

"Z...." Jeff repeated with a look of fear and anger. Everyone had the same fave, even Sally. 

"Yeah...?" I looked around. "Who's Z?"

"Zalgo." Everyone said the name with such hatred and darkness.

"Who's that? Do you all have a grudge on him?"

"Yes. He... He was the one who started the war. The one you had to test in, the one you killed him in. He must of found out." Jeff looked over.

"Oh jeez.... So what right?" I tried to cheer them up with an awkward laugh. "I dont... He won't.. He won't do anything right?"

"He's already started." Masky. Spat out.

"How?"

"You know when you told us about the girl, and how she warned you. That was Pinkamena. She used to be a creepypasta here, until Zalgo took her. She was hear with her friend Rainbow Dash but he killed her." Hoodie filled me in on the story.

"What the..." I looked at my hands.

"He's evil. He takes people and either kills or uses them." Toby added.

"Is that the only reason you all hate him?" I looked around.

"No. He took something from all of us." Jeff looked like he was about to cry. "Except Hoodie and Masky, they were Slenders first proxies. He let them be."

"I was too but... I joined late." Tody informed.

"He didnt take anything from me. I don't have anyone. I had to kill a kidney for my final test" Ej tried to lighten the mood like Ben did before but it only worked a little. "We do fight tho, me Hoodie and Masky all fight the rejects. I fight lost silver. He looks kinda like Jeff but left hair, a sadder face, and no limbs. Masky fights Slime dog. He was the old pet of the house... He was also Jeff's but yeah. And Hoodie fights the rake."

"Creepy bastard." Hoodie added with a shiver.

"He took from us." Sally said with sorrow.

"What... What did he take?" I asked.

"The only ones we loved." Ben was being serious for once. "He... He took my only friend.... I didnt have any and the only one I had was a video game character. It sounds sad but he took Link." Ben was in the verge of tears when Lj started rubbing his back. "I may seem happy but... Seriously. How do you do that. He turned him into this...this monster. Dark Link." Ben could take it anymore. He started to cry. We all felt sad, he was always happy and now.

"He took my Isaac." Laughing Jack was frowning. "The owner that... Turned me into this." He looked at himself. "An evil black and white clown." He threw out a shot of anger and betrayal.

"He..." Sally spoke. "He took my cousin. We were so close and... And he took her after I got taken in by slender. When we fought in the war.... She changed. Her new name was crosshatch. A huge smile and black eyes, she has a mask and white hair. She... She-" a wave of tears flew over Sally. We all shared looked of pain, except me. I was so intrigued by the stories. I felt so... So bad for them.

"He took my best friend." Jane started. "My only friend... Like Ben I didnt have many, but Nina.... She stuck with me through middle school. When I met Jeff," they made eye contact and I could practically see the tension, "when I became who I am... I had to leave her. She didnt understand why. But all I said was to stay away. Then during the war... She appeared. It was as if she knew it... She already wanted me dead." Jane finished but didn't cry.

"He took my girlfriend." Toby picked up the story mic and spoke.

"Your girlfriend?" I asked. I never thought of Toby as the romantic type.

"Yeah.... Clockwork. She used to be a creepypasta here. We were so happy together. But one day one of Zalgo's old minions took her. They... They just up and told her she would be happy there. She asked me to leave with her but I didnt want to betray Slender. So she left. During the war she held some kind of grudge towards me. Like I did something wrong." Toby's tone rose and became angry. "I didnt do anything!" He slammed the ground. We all looked at him. I felt scared. I looked at Jeff to see him looking down. I could tell his story and now this was clouding his thoughts.

"Your turn Jeff. Since we all did it." Ben finally spoke again. He was rubbing the blood away from his eyes.

"Fine" he sighed. "He took my brother. Up and took his dead carcass and turned him into a creepypasta. I thought he was still alive, I knew he was.... But I had to leave him. Its my fault, I could of taken him.... But no. I left him to be taken. Liu is his name. In the war we...- we fought like strangers. I didnt want to betray Slender but.... My brother." For the fist time I saw him cry. He held me tight and cried into my shoulder. I felt myself on the verge of tears.

After the circle of trust was ridden of tears we all shared looks of under says no ng of each others pain. We all went to watch a movie when I heard something at the door. I opened it to see a boy with black hair. He had red eyes and bandages around his hand. He looked somewhat like a butler. He also looked around my age. 

"Excuse me is this the Slender residence?" The boy spoke. Jeff and the others stood on guard in the back.

"Um yes? SLENDER YOU HAVE A VISITE-" Before I could finish the boy grabbed my face and pointed it towards his.

"I'm not looking for him. I'm looking for you....
