Chapter 5 - Peace Maker

"Hello!? Layla?"

 My eyes fluttered open and ajusted to my surroundings.

It was Kate

"Are you okay? When i came back i found you, and it looked like you fainted!" she exclaimed.

"Yea , I'm okay...I - I just had the wierdest dream, It was dark all around me and then i saw this girl, and then... and then..."

"And then...?"

"I - I don't  know I forgot"

"Well then thats okay as long as your all right" she said then helped me up off of the ground.

Later that night:

So since i didn't know where the heck i was i had to sleep over Kate's house that night. When we were getting ready for bed we both heard thunder.

"Ugh no, no, no not now!" Kate complained.

"What?" I asked.

"You'll see, close all the doors." kate commanded.

Then Kate opened the window.

Then this magic pathway alined wide enough for us to walk on.

"Come on" she said and stepped on the pathway, with me right behind her.

As we walked we seemed to be getting up higher and higher.

Then there was this light, so kate moved twored it like she was used to doing this.

And when we got to the light Kate swiped her hand across the white surface then there out of no were was a mark on her hand. it looked simaler to mine but it was a little different.

Then she searched for the invisible door nob and when she found it she turned it and opened the door.

Then when we walked in there in front of us was Shayla.

"Hello, Kate" Shayla said.

"Hey Shayla, what do you want now?" kate said.

Wow they must go way back because there acting like siblings.

"Oh nothing, but talking to you and Layla." shayla said.

"Oh, so you too know each other" kate said while walking back to the door. " ohhh thats great so i can leave now-"

"No you can not because i have to talk to both of you" then kate stopped and turned back to shayla.

"Don't make her mad... just a warning" kate whispered to me while she was walking back.

Then i just nodded.

Then Shayla gave kate a look but kate didnt reply.

"Okay so Layla i'm guessing that you have alot of questions" shayla says.

"Uh yea i do , I have some accually." i say, then shayla just nods.

"Okay #1 whats up with the mark?" i asked.

Then she looks at my hand and then she smiled.

"Looks like she's a peace maker." Shayla says.

Then Kate nudges me and smiles.

" What's a peace maker?" I ask.

"A peace maker is someone who travels through dementions and brings peace to each one, but you can not leave until that is done. The mark is the sign of a peace maker, they use it to travel through dementions." shayla finishes.

"Your almost like a hero but you don't stay in the same place for very long." Kate says.

"So when i came here-" Shayla inturrupted me.

"It was the awakening of your powers" then she takes a look at my hand then Kates, then she smiles again.

"And it looks like we have a match." she says.
