Chapter 19 - Attack

Shayla's PROV:

I saw Kate running towards me with mixed emotions. She was freaking out so much that she could barely speak," Shayla!" she screamed.

"Yes Kate. What is it?" 

"It's Layla. She, she, she..." she started crying into her hands.

"Kate! What happened!?" I asked her.

"I h-heard and scream and when i looked for Layla... she was gone." she panted.

My eyes widen in amazement. I ran into the Mayors office only to find broken glass and a note.

"The battle has begun."

It had said.

I tared up the note then ran back over to the now sobbing Kate.

"Kate! I need you to open up a portal." I told her. She gave me a confused look,"Why?"

"Because we're going to save Layla. Now I need to say Maroleft Keboso"

She raised her eyebrow then said,"Maroleft Keboso" and in front of us a portal appeared.

I grinned at her then stepped inside the portal. It was dark and silent. I could almost hear Kate's breathing.

"Layla!" I screamed.

All of a sudden i heard a growl come from the darkness and sprung out a wolf. Ten-feet tall and red beady eyes.

 Kate screamed as it lounged toward her. It felt like we were inside a nightmare, everything was going wrong.
