Third person's pov
"Rose have you seen my white blouse?" Haley asked, running her hands through her hair frustrated as she dug through her closet, throwing clothes all around the room.
Rose and Haley were roommates turned best friends throughout the years of living together. They met in the first year of college and constantly ran into each other at parties, they grew close because of that and at the time Rose's old roommate had moved out and she was looking for a new one, luckily Haley was also looking for a place to stay.
Rose groaned, pressing her face further into the pillow in hopes of blocking out Haley's voice. "Shut up let me sleep,"
Haley stopped moving and glanced over at Rose who was laying on the bed with her leg hanging over the edge and her sheets all tangled up with her body. "Wake the hell up its eight o'clock." She yelled as she walked over to Rose's bed and tugged on her blanket.
"Stop it go away." Rose groaned, trying to pull her blanket back onto her body. "I don't know where the hell your stupid blouse is, now leave me alone."
Haley stopped tugging and placed both of hands on her hips as she huffed. She slowly walked back to her closet and spotted her blouse on the ground and she let out a small chuckle. "There you are,"
"Why are you even awake? It's too damn early." Rose mumbled as she rubbed her eyes and pushed herself up onto a sitting position. She looked at Haley with one eye while she continued to rub her other eye in hopes of waking herself up.
"I have an interview, I told you already." Haley replied, throwing the blouse over her head and slipping it onto her slim body. Her body wasn't too slim; she was a little busty while her stomach was flat. Her hips pushed out more making her body curvy with her long legs. Most people would say she had the perfect body but Haley thought of herself as basic and average.
"Oh yeah, that's right huh?" Rose let out a small chuckle and yawned. "What was it for again?"
"Housekeeping," Haley walked over to her bed that was across from Rose's reaching under her bed frame to grab a pair of black heels that went along with the black pencil skirt she was wearing. She glanced up at Rose as she slipped her shoes on.
Rose nodded her head taking in the information. "I still can't believe you're actually going to do that. You already have a job. Plus, out of everything you choose to be a housekeeper? You're smart and educated, I'm sure there's better options out there for you."
Haley sighed, placing her hands on her hips as she shifted all her weight to one leg. "It's easy money, I love cleaning anyways so it really isn't that big of a deal. You know we need the extra money too; we're barely making it by."
"I just don't feel comfortable having you become some rich family's slave just because we're a little low on rent. My boss was supposed to give me a raise anyways so you really don't need to do this." Rose replied.
Haley rolled her eyes and walked over to the mirror that was on the wall, she looked at herself and ran a hand through her hair, trying to fix her image. "You're exaggerating. I'm not going to be like a slave. It's just cleaning and maybe a few other things if they want." She began applying mascara to her lashes, she always wore minimal amount of makeup just because she was too lazy to do more. "Your boss has been saying that for six months now, I doubt he's ever going to actually give you that raise."
"Whatever, fine. But if you're getting a second job then so will I." Rose replied, slowly laying back down onto the bed and pulled the blanket up to her chin.
"Fine with me," Haley shrugged and gave one last look at herself before slowly walking over to the door, "I better go before I'm late, wouldn't make a great first impression."
"Bye," Rose quietly responded already in her half asleep state.
Haley chuckled to herself and shook her head "Bye,"
