~Chapter 3~
~Time Skip, Sky's POV~
I sat at the foosball table, wringing my hands nervously. As soon as Fouffy and the Seto came down, they had taken Ty out of my grip and disappeared once again. Jason had brought me a cast, and we had wrapped that tightly around my leg to stop the bleeding. I needed no more medical attention.
Word of Ty's injuries rapidly spread across the base. An endless amount of people came to me with questions, like what happened, how he got so hurt, exc.
I didn't answer them, at least, not entirely. I had decided to keep our feelings a secret for now. When Ty woke up, we could discuss it and come up with a plan.
"Dood," Mitch shook me, one of the little sticks in his hand. "Are you on our team or not?"
"Sorry, sorry." I mumbled, and grabbed my own sticks that I had been assigned to. "Just distracted."
"Sky, he's your best friend, not your boyfriend or anything." Those words sent shivers up my spine. "Quit worrying, Ty will be fine."
"What if something happened to Jerome?!" I suddenly spat. "Wouldn't you be nervous?! Scared?! What if your best friend died?!"
Mitch looked a little taken aback. He looked away, not willing to look into my eyes.
Immediately I felt a little guilty. "Sorry..." I mumbled, looking away as well.
Jerome, Quentin and Dakotas eyes were all on us. We were asking like some little school girls who weren't getting their way.
"It's fine," Mitch mumbled, then slapped on a smile and turned back to me. "Back to the game, k?"
"Yeah," I mumbled, retaking the stick in my head. "Back to the game."
"SSSKKKKYYYYY!" There was a sudden shout, and my eyes darted to the stairs, which led up to the army base. A sudden figure came riding down the banister, and I rolled my eyes.
"Jason," I called "get off the fucking banister."
He laughed as the wind whipped past his hair. I will admit he looked cool without his helmet on. A waiter who had been serving us later was walking up the stairs, and Jason took that opportunity where he got. I stuck his hand out, catching onto the tray and stopping the poor waiter in his tracks. Before he whizzed by, he grabbed a guava smoothie and brought the straw to his lips as he sailed.
He slipped off the banner, making a perfect landing on the wood floor below him. He was still sipping his smoothie, like a boss, while the poor waiter sat there, still trying to process what had just happened.
I put my hand on my side as he walked over, winking at a few of the girls who were watching our game. I noticed something at the side of his neck, and smirked to myself.
"Sky," he said happily, putting the drink down on the foosball table, much to the other guys distastes. "It's about Ty."
My heart fluttered and I stood a little taller. "What about Ty?! Is he alright?!"
"Yes, he's better than alright, he's waking UP!"
My eyes must've literally popped out of my hand. I took off, sprinting last Jason and leaving him looking pretty confused. About halfway up the steps, I turned around to face the spaceman.
"By the way, leave Ian alone!!"
Jason blushed, quickly putting on his helmet to cover up the mark on his neck. I chuckled as I ran up the stairs, turning my back on the embarrassed man.
I pushed past hordes of people, all wanting autographs from the famous SkyDoesMinecraft. I shoved all of them away, at first apologizing, but then just running so I could get there.
Finally, I burst open the door to the ward where Ty was. I slammed it quickly behind me, still flustered by all the fangirls that wouldn't leave me be.
"Ty..." I mumbled, walking next to his bed on light feet.
The truth was, I hadn't visited him since we brought him here. I just couldn't stand to see him. Now, it was a knock to the heart. He had wits sticking out from every point and place in his body. Pieces of cloth covered up the stab wounds. He lay there, still and unmoving.
"He'll wake up in about 10 seconds, sir, according to the heart monitor." He pointed his pen to the digital object, and I nodded, dropping to my knees next to the bed and picking up the mans hand.

"S-Sky...?"
"Ty..." I hiccuped, gathering him in my arms and giving his body a gentle hug. "I was so nervous.."
"Ouch..." He mumbled, and I quickly let go. "Ty, I'm still really sorry-"
"No," his eyes suddenly became wide. He looked up at me and tears flooded his eyes. "I should be sorry for what I did...I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have-"
"Ty, Ty-" I calmed his down by grabbing his head and giving it a little squeeze. "Don't worry about it. I even...kinda liked it."
"Y-You did?"
"Yes...thanks, for your...confession."
A smile danced across his lips and he leaned forward, connecting them to mine. I began sliding my lips with his until we slowly pulling back, hands still linked and fingers intertwined.
"I love you..." I whispered gently, and he nodded in response.
"I love you too, Sky."
