Adrien POV
I was up late trying to think of people who hated sweet Marinette, but still no names came to mind. My mind wandered towards Marinette. I wonder how she is holding up. Her smile was so beautiful. I wish I could see her now, but I can't.
I woke up with breakfast sitting on the edge of my bad. As I was eating my meal, I noticed a note. 'Good morning pretty boy. I hope you were dreaming about me and not that other girl' I rolled my eyes, 'Trust me, she is a loser. Enjoy your meal and I will see you soon! Love, your true girl XOXO' "Ugh, this girl was getting her hopes up. I will never fall for her." I yell out loud, not caring if anyone heard me.
Marinette POV
At school, Alya and I waited for Nino to show up so that we could start thinking of ideas to find Adrien.
"Sorry I'm late" Nino burst into the library.
"Don't worry Nino, we still have time to come up the ideas to find our best friend" I say as we sit down to start planning. We head into the library to start brainstorming ideas. So far, we have nothing.
"This is really difficult because the police have no leads on the whereabouts of Adrien" I finally say.
"'You're right. Let's go to class and hope we come up with something" Alya says, agreeing with me. Nino nods in agreement.
During lunch, we sat at our normal spot and ate our lunch.
"Do either of you two have any ideas yet?" I asked.
"No" they say in unison. "This is not as easy as we may have thought" Alya pointed out. We continued to eat our lunch in silence.
Adrien POV
'I am so bored' I thought as I looked out the window. Paris looked so beautiful so full of life on the streets. I sigh looking away from the window and sit back down on the bed and think about my friend. I really want to see them and let them know that I am okay
The guard gave me my lunch and left the room. I wish someone was here with me other than that annoying girl. I hated being so alone in this boring, blank room
